First ever visit and ride after seeing it for so many years. Would definitely do it again for just £7 adult return. Beautiful stations, immaculately looked after trams. Half Way station has great displays and history of the 1902 tramway and you can see how the cable system operates etc. Friendly staff and an altogether highly recommended thing to do... More

A one off experience, not been on anything like this before, when I was there it was very busy and I had to wait while two other trams went

Visited this attraction for the first time with a group and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Beautiful trams traveling through an awesome landscape with great weather created the perfect day out. Staff were a pleasure to talk to and so knowledgeable about the history of the area. Definitely visiting again.

Having travelled up the Great Orme by Cable Car the day before (as it was running), we travelled up again by the more reliable (unaffected by wind) Victorian Tramway. You have to change trams at the Halfway station and walk past information boards detailing the history of this funicular and how it works with the winding gear being visible through... More

What a great day out .Park in Llandudno and walk to the bottom terminus ,then catch the cable car to the summit of the Great Orme .Plent of space for the kids to play ,or have a meal at the cafe .You can either walk down or take the cable car back to the town.

Using the tram to go up the Orme is a very different experience to driving up by car. For me it was a return visit, having been up back in the 1940's. Queueing at the station is well organised and arriving early (around 10.00) reduces the wait. People with limited mobility might have problems getting on/off but the friendly crew may... More

Step back into history by using this route first opened in 1902. The tramway runs throughout the day. An alternative route, the cable cars, may not run if there are strong winds. The lower part of the tramway route passes a fascinating mixture of houses perched on numerous slopes and edges. Halfway up you change trains and you can stop... More

We were told about the Great Orme Tramway at the hotel and we weren't disappointed, with my partner in a wheelchair we are learning to take disabled access with a pinch of salt, there was no problem here, he accessed the train at the rear and the chair was strapped in, the friendly staff made sure we were fine, the... Our dog can't walk very well and has to wear little shoes on her hind legs. When we got to the top of the ride we realised that we had lost one shoe on the way up. The staff on the tram at the top were excellent and helped us look for it, but to no avail, and phoned down... More
