This company usually perform in and around their home town of Eastbourne but we were lucky enough to attend last nights performance in The Middle Temple Hall in London.
What a joy, The Wife is an adaptation Chaucer's tale The Wife if Bath, having studied Chaucer at school I was not sure but the information supplied assured me that it would be a great experience and I am so glad we attended. It was brilliant, we all enjoyed the evening enormously. I loved every minute of the performance and highly recommend it to all. The audience ranged from a few young children to seniors and we all laughed around many times. The artists were all multi talented playing a few instruments as well as multiple parts in the story.
Rather than wax lyrical longer I just say... if you can go and see this company .. you will not be disappointed!

was at a wonderful setting above the tankerton slopes with the moon rising over the set which became opart of the play! The acting was very lively and we sat on our own comfortable chairs and were able to have our picnic there before the show with a galss of wine of course!

Our 3rd year watching this Theatre group and yet another thoroughly enjoyable evening. The cast are excellent and multi talented and the time just whizzes by. Some families had a picnic beforehand but we just brought snacks for half time. Most venues can sell tea or coffee at least. Given the chance - GO! (But remember, take warm clothing as the evenings do get chilly)

This traveling theatre group are fabulous. It's a must see as far as myself & husband are concerned. They are brilliant actors, funny, talented, imaginative, we loved their performance of Oberon's Cure. Everything about this troop is remarkable, the singing, the music, the costumes, the makeup and the venue (Somerset village garden) Having our own picnic before the performance was fun with friends and added to the occasion.

I think last night topped last year for us ... We were at their last performance of the season, at Michelham Priory - which in itself is a 'must visit' attraction. The weather started out warm, but as the night closed in it became very cold - and many members of the audience had (very sensibly) even donned hats and gloves!!

The Commercial Traveller was AMAZING... They are such a multi talented group of individuals - the fact that they can sing, dance, play musical instruments, act and even eat fire is just beyond belief. The scripting is superb - the plot was fun, naughty, entertaining and engaging. The interaction with the audience and even the odd helicopter flying overhead was superb. Seeing them at Michelham Priory was VERY special too - what a gorgeous venue.

This play was enjoyed by all ages ... Can't wait for next year!!

Last night at godinton house - beautiful setting, perfect weather, the Rudes were very entertaining (3rd time we've had the pleasure). So professional, very funny, amazing how they stay in their different characters. You feel they enjoy the audience as much as vice versa. Totally unique experience, thankyou rudes for all your hard work, it certainly pays off.

An outdoor theatre performance with some interaction by the public! Very entertaining as the small company of performers are so versatile. Second time seen them and will book again next year without fail.

Have had the great pleasure to experience 2 outdoor performances by this extremely talented theatre company. Hugely entertaining, funny, thought provoking and always leaves you wanting more! A truly magical evening of improvisation and music. Impatiently awaiting details of this summer's play- can't wait, just hope the weather is kind!
