Eastbourne's premier contemporary art gallery. Two floors of original land and seascapes, figurative and abstract works.The gallery has been featured on BBC TV, ITV and many national and regional newspaperes and magazines. Schools visits by arrangement.

Can you feel love for an inanimate object? Well I now do! After searching through many art shops and galleries looking for pieces of art for our recently decorated hallway and not finding anything that said to me “buy me” we decided to return to Nigel's gallery in Eastbourne.We had bought three pieces of art from Nigel a few years ago, all with a seaside theme. I still love these paintings and impulsively decided on Sunday morning to make the drive from Chislehurst to Eastbourne just to see what Nigel now had in his gallery. When I arrived, I found myself confused as I had not expected to buy an abstract piece of artwork, but I was constantly drawn to one painting and then another. I bought two paintings, and am so happy with what I bought. I hadn’t realised the impact these paintings would have once removed from the others and hung in my hallway. To say we are delighted with them is an understatement! They bring life to the hallway, and everyone seeing them for the first time say Wow!

Walking into Nigels art display is mesmerising. The energy from the colour is exhilarating. Nigel gave me an insight into his work which made it so much more meaningful.
I could easily have bought 5 pieces but l bought 2 and they look sensational in my home.
I just wish l had discovered him before now.

I stumbled upon Nigel's gallery while visiting family and it was full of beautiful, unique pieces of art - each with it's own story. I visited again with my 9year old who has an interest in art and he was so attentive to her - explaining his techniques and really taking time to help broaden her art knowledge and feed her intrigue. We bought a stunning piece that I am so looking forward to getting home and hanging. I would highly recommend visiting the gallery to meet Nigel and see his fabulous creations.

If there was a 6th star rating then Nigel and his gallery would deserve it. Beautiful gallery in Eastbourne run by the artist himself with excellent customer service. His artwork is exquisite: paintings, multi-media pieces, abstract pieces- Greaves's work has it all. Whatever the art work it has original flair and exceptional use of colour, shape and composition. I've not yet found another artist who has command of colour quite like Greaves, even 'muted' colours seem vibrant drawing you into each canvas. I full recommend a visit whatever your taste in art as there's something for everyone in this gallery.

Many stores are closed at a Monday noon but I was warmly welcomed by Nigel gallery. It appears normal from outside but it’s amazing inside, worth an hour’s visit. The bright and bold colors are exactly what you need in a rainy day/an unsettling period. They are blended in a very balanced, satisfying way, making those paintings great for indoors decoration. Lovely gallery, lovely experience.

We had previously visited Nigel’s gallery a few years ago and couldn’t resist another look at the wonderful artwork he creates in his gallery behind the The Grand Hotel. We came away with three amazing pieces to add to our ever-growing collection!! The picture of the lighthouse at Beachy Head blew my partner away and immediately bought it without any hesitation. Nigel is a pleasure to know, I highly recommend a visit!!

Talk about inspiring! Not only is his art amazing but Nigel himself was a great pleasure to meet, full of character just like his paintings. There are so many different styles, colours and textures that it’s a real feast for the eyes and you can’t help but be wowed. I would highly recommend a visit.

Wondered into this gallery with lots of modern artworks, which would suit any modern home, from a small flat to a larger family home. You get to meet Nigel who is very friendly and runs his shop by himself. That gives you an opportunity to discuss his art and prices are very decent.

Whilst staying in the Grant Hotel , we visited the gallery on a number of occasions. We spent some time with Nigel and got some fantastic insight on his work. We purchased two original pieces which we are very happy with , hanging in our house. Looking forward to a further visit when the COViD restrictions allow.

Visited Nigel in his gallery a few weeks ago. This is a fabulous gallery and Nigel was a delight to talk to. The art work is stunning and his use vivid colour is exceptional. We bought a piece of art which is now hung in our living room giving all that see it a great deal of pleasure. There was absolutely no hard sell and we were made to feel very welcome. Will be visiting again in the future. Paul and Jill.
