It doesn't take long to walk round it. A gorgeous tea and cake shop all lit up. Lovely glass blowing and artifical flower shop. The pier is well looked after and not full of tacky shops and loud games. Great for a stroll round and it's free to get onto. Gorgeous view of the shore line.

The pier seemed to be in very good condition and was not full of tacky concessions and smelling of chip fat. We visited on a beautiful clear sunny day. The pier is free and gives good views of the Eastbourne seafront. Well worth a stroll if you are visiting the town.

Since its make over this pier has come to life and has much to offer all age groups . The Victorian cafe has an excellent range of reasonably priced snacks and the cream tea in particular is very good value and delicious.

Everyone should do the walk on the Pier a warm summer's night the view is stunning from the sunset to colourful lights of Eastbourne. Newly rebuilt after the fire it is now a lovely example of a historic building. Have a good vist to a truly beautiful town

Nice to see the pier having much needed TLC I don't understand petty people complaining about the gold paint after all it was in a very poor state for a long time. Well done to the new owners

Very nice place to walk , it's all ground floor and benches to sit down, summer should be much better than winter months

Had a stroll along the pier on a lovely sunny day , we ended up in the beautiful Victorian tea room where we stopped for a hot chocolate , it had lovely chandeliers and the staff were friendly and attentive
