We visited Fort Fun today with children ranging in age from 2-14. Parking was easy and cheap at £4 for 4hrs and the venue itself was clean and Covid secure. The splash sessions are split into half hour blocks and you can book multiple sessions (depending on availability) if you think your children would want that. Mine did 2 sessions (1hr) and that was ample for them. We then moved on to enjoying the mini golf (included in the price) and making the most of the jumping pillow and play equipment. There was also a miniature carousel suitable for children up to the age of about 10. The facilities at Fort fun were kept very clean and cafe had a reasonable selection of lunch, if like us you forgot to bring a picnic. There were lots of picnic tables. The only drawback here was there wasn’t much shade available, which on a hot day might be a problem and there were some areas that need a bit of a revamp. But overall we had a great afternoon and this place far exceeded my expectations.

Great entertainment for a family of four with two young children on a very hot day. The indoor play, two amusement rides and the bikes and trikes aren’t available due to the restrictions but everything else is open.
One criticism would be the lack of shade provided. Since you can no longer sit inside it would have been good if the venue could have put up umbrellas / shade covers at every table rather than just a handful. Very little cover anywhere.
The splash pool was organised nicely with a rolling 30mins session and you could go in as many times as you like. Just keep any eye on the que as if generally started about 20mins prior to the advertised time slot and only 70 people at a time are allowed. I did notice a parent going out to que whilst their children were still in the water pool and then the children coming out to join them as soon as the session ended. So they got to keep going in without waiting. But nothing to stop people doing this - just wasn’t sure it was quite fair.
I would recommend taking a picnic blanket / umbrella . Some people even had sun tents. Since not only is shade a problem but also somewhere to sit. Quite a lot of families would set up base camp on a picnic bench and then go off to the activities for long periods. But this meant other people who had purchased food or wanted to use the benches had nowhere to sit. Again Annoying but what can you do.
Overall a good day with lots of bits to do and it kept us entertained all day. The cafe is also doing the half price eat out deal on mon- wed. Which helped with value for money.

We came to Fort fun on one of the hottest days and my children were so excited to get into the water immediately.
Certain things were not open such as the indoor play area and the rides but this was fine as it was a nice day and we wanted to be outside anyway. We managed to get a nice shady spot which was nice and we couldn't of done without it.
The water park is clearly the main attraction of this park. They emptied the water park every 30 minutes to clean and then you had to que again. We watched them clean and this seemed to be a quick wipe down of the gate and some sweeping, understandably needs to be done in the current climate but I wouldn't say its actually preventing any spread. Children would then have to que for around 20-40 minutes to get back in.
If the park is having reduced capacity due to covid I would say it should keep it to the capacity of the water park. Making children que in the blistering heat for that long didn't really make sense.
The childreb enjoyed the bouncy pillow, mini golf and outdoor play area as well and there is other options but I didn't feel personally that the restrictions on numbers was enough as we were all bunched together most of the time.
We ordered lunch which was fine, nothing spectacular but no more or less than you would expect at a park of this nature. I will say that the ladies working in the cafe/kitchen were very friendly and really upped the whole experience of our visit.
On a whole, my children loved the water park and have been begging to go back, it's perfect for multiple ages of children, but we will be waiting for a time when the rules have been lightened as the park is too busy and not able to cope with the current restrictions.

Spend the day by the beach with the kids. You can find free parking places a bit further into Eastbourne or pay to park in their car park,Spend the day there. Cafe is also there. Penny machines and Water Park

Having taken my children today (age 6 months and 4 years old) for there first soft play session since lockdown begun in March. I was very impressed with how clean and Covid safe the whole are was I was previously at high risk so a great concern to me but was so happy on arrival to see how well things were safe for all. Both children enjoyed themselves and will defiantly be returning again

Myself and my children had a great time here, staff was very helpful especially Tash who went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Plenty of sanitising tables, and considering the circumstances with covid, things seemed to be running smoothly, didn’t see one unhappy child around. Will definitely be returning in the near future

My niece had her birthday party here in February. The kids had a great time. They had fun in the play area as well as doing some arts and crafts. The staff were friendly and the entertainer Steff was bubbly and fun around the kids. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic value for money and the staff were brilliant. The 30 min slots aren’t ideal but it’s the fairest way and it’s unlimited access to the water park throughout the day - you just need to wait your turn. Friendly and welcoming and was a massive highlight on our weekend from London.

Nice place for young children. Staff are friendly and interactive especially Steff. Only negative is parents need to supervise their own children as you have 6 years plus in the baby bit. Otherwise a nice place to visit with you g children

Can you take in a picnic?

Yes, there are plenty of benches you can eat on outside. You can’t eat in the splash park and picnics aren’t supposed to be eaten inside but I’ve never had an issue eating own snacks with items purchased

By train to Eastbourne and then the 99 bus to right outside, or bus 12 from Brighton Churchill Square - Eastbourne Pier and then walk.
