A great place for a gentle stroll, just sitting and watching the sea slowly roll in and out, or enjoying the beach. Judging by all the dedicated benches stretching along the prom, this has been a popular spot for years and years. We always go...More

Always wondered what was at the end of the promenade going west from the pier, found an absolute gem, worth the walk, plenty of beach, toilets, lots of paths up to the road and a cute cafe, had a yummy Chelsea bun and latte. Well...More

This beach is right at the far Western end of the promenade. I have found more sand here in the past and it is much quieter than near the pier. The Dotto land train departs from here once an hour. The cafe is very nice...More

Stumbled upon Holywell Beach by accident when getting a day of fresh air on the beach../. Nothing fancy, just a great portion of chips and lovely service! Will be back for sure

Beach is pebbly but clean with some sandy parts. Good eatery close buy selling a variety of food. Visited two weeks ago but saddened to see that the few beach huts that were there had been set alight....so burnt out debris still left.

Walk here frequently and come and enjoy the beach and the opportunity to walk along the beach under the cliffs. Lots of interesting rock pools if the tide is right. Good cafe too. Recommended

Set in the foot of the cliffs at the western end of Eastbourne, this eatery is set back from the beach beneath the Victorian Holywell Retreat. Ample outdoor and indoor seating, and a good range of food available from snacks to light meals.
