Good atmosphere

Small but perfectly formed. The ale house serves more than ales. There is a wide range of ales to choose from, as you would expect.

The Victoria Inn
Sep 2021
It was explained to me by the Barman that it is called the Victoria Inn! Anyway we really enjoyed this place which was much better than the Park Inn that is 200 metres away in Park Road! I sampled 4 different half pints and my wife had two glasses of Pinot Grigio. I would recommend coming to this bar when one could hear oneself speak!

Great Beer
Mar 2020 • Solo
Friendly welcome, pleasant clientele and a good choice of ales and beers. There are local beers to choose from which as an outsider is what I want.
The decor is pleasant and comfortable. There is a piano that is often played by customers.

Wonderful Pub and Ale House
Sep 2019
Friends took us to this nice ale house located at Westbourne Place. It is the Mumbles Ale House, but might be confused since one of the signs outside says Victoria Inn. Nevertheless, it is a good going place with real ales and friendly staff. The night we were there, they had a grill set up in one end of the room and were serving food. The place has beautiful colored glass windows and a nice classic bar. I enjoyed a bottled Welsh Porter while there. Great place.

Proper Beer
Oct 2019
We visit more often than not for the quiz which is good fun , sandwiches included only a £1 to enter. The beer is the main attraction though, they do rotate the beers recommend the stout, very nice, and if they have it on The Norwegian Blue very drinkable.
Well worth a visit if you appreciate proper beer

A very plesent old fashion pub where all chairs are different, quite a small pub with a small seating area to front. The pub has moved to The Victorian pub not too far away. Over all a very lovely friendly local pub.

A little bit quirky, in a good way.

Interesting ale house/pub. Good selection of ales and lager, ciders, spirits and wine. Seating comprises of leather sofas, wing back chairs, bench seating, stools. Atmospheric lighting with various wall lights, fairy lights, lamps. Must be experienced if visiting the Mumbles.

Great Quiz night again at the Ale House
Jul 2019
Great little revamped local. They have a quiz night every Wednesday, very relaxed and a great atmosphere. Costs £1 each to enter, snacks are provided and the questions aren’t too difficult. The Landlord and Landlady are working really hard to establish The Ale House in its new location. There are live music nights and pop up kitchen evenings, so keep an eye on their Facebook page for details. My favourite tipple is the Welsh Cake stout.

Quiz night at the Ale House
Jun 2019 • Friends
Wednesday is Quiz night at the Ale House (now on the site of the old Vic) it’s a brilliant evening. Costs a quid to enter, prizes AND sandwiches and nibbles. Not to be taken too seriously but there’s a huge effort being made by the newish proprietors of this old pub. Sunday they have live music, and Monday is Indian cuisine night. It really is worth a visit. They need to change their address though, as it’s no longer in the Dunns. The Welsh cake stout is lush.

Hidden gem
Mar 2019 • Friends
Visited last night, slightly confused trying to find it in Dunn’s Lane when it’s now in Gloucester Place and called The Victoria (!)
It’s a great little pub tucked away but the beer, staff and customers were so friendly we will definitely call again when next in the area
