We had visited this place on a holiday to Swansea about 12 to 13 years ago but our visit one evening a few days ago was a little disappointing. They seemed to have ripped out the guts of the place we fondly remembered and the noise level due to the flooring and large numbers of people was such as it was difficult to hear oneself speak. I rated he beers I drank but not much atmosphere to what it had been.

I’m not sure what people see in this pub. The bar staff have a look of lord of the rings about them, in a bad way. One woman actually called me my precious. It was all very concerning. I would not recommend this pub, even to my most hated relatives. Visit at your your own risk. Racist.

If you fancy a night out with all your mates or just a quiet pint then stay far away from the park inn.

A lovely bunch of us were out doing the mumbles mile. We are a group of kind responsible students. Upon entering the pub we were turned away as they obviously didn't want our money,
we were told they dont serve groups of people.

Look, I've been a regular here for donkey's, and these "terrible" reviews are ridiculous. And what the hell! "Racist!?" Some people should just stay off TripAdvisor.

Firstly, this is a proper pub, great ales, good whisky and some other variety of drinks. That's it. Bar snacks if you need. This is a pub for drinking good drinks and talking with friends. This isn't a place to have a piss up or a stag do or check off your list while getting drunk in every bar around. The staff are brilliant and nice. The place is clean and warm. The beer garden is lovely. Come Thursdays for quiz night. It's a normal, traditional pub. Check the OS map from the late 1800s. The Park Inn was here.

There's no jukebox to annoy everyone and make us all speak louder. They show sports when it's important (i.e. Rugby) and occasionally have other foods. The real ale pumps (5) change weekly and there is always something for everyone on. The people that frequent the park are the salt of the earth and come here because it's a place to relax and have a drink. I live next to other pubs and have never been in em. Cause I don't need to. I've met loads of people who pop into the park on a whim and are just amazed a place as nice as this exists. Give it a go if it sounds like what you're in the mood for. If it doesn't, sod off.

Great range of real ale, including a lovely Tiny Rebel. Plenty of seats, friendly atmosphere. Glad we found it.

We stumbled across this lovely little pub whilst walking our dog one evening, we returned the next evening to a warm welcome and a lovely atmosphere. We've finally found a nice local pub which isn't littered with builders bums, sticky carpets, chavy mouthy youths and cougars. So glad we discovered this hidden little gem. We should be supporting local businesses and I wholly support this one. Definitely recommend a visit.

The distance from home to The Park Inn is measured in steps or metres. Having lived in the Derbyshire Peak District for the past 3 years and enjoyed fine ales in great pubs with lovely people, it was a pleasure to return to the delightful and refurbished Park. The locals still occupy their usual places at the bar and the selection of ales was well up to scratch! Great to be home!

I've been frequenting the Park Inn for well over 20 years and have always seen it as a hidden oasis in Mumbles. The Park is a cosy pub hidden away in the Mumbles back streets and attracts a very interesting mix of locals, from Hollywood actors and local thespians to Lawyers, Artists, office workers and former rugby players, it makes for some interesting banter. There is no music just conversation and laughter, a proper pub!! Kev, the Landlord, keeps a very good selection of well kept real ales along with decent lagers and cider. He also has a nice selection of whisky and bourbon as well as bottled beers and ciders. A warm welcome is extended by the pleasant bar staff although, as mentioned in a few reviews, large, rowdy groups are generally discouraged. If you like a great pint in a real pub then look no further.

A good choice of excellent WELSH ales, no loud music (no music at all), pleasant staff and locals, no food (and associated smells), dog friendly, locals friendly................ and as you will see from two other reviews, large groups of gobby students spoiling the evening for everybody else are actively discouraged..............thank you!
