A nice place to stroll around for a couple of hours, no limititations where to go or not to go....access everywhere... Many signs telling about the history of the fort

A must see when you go to Kristiansund. An old fortress with interesting history and many things to see. If you are historically interested, this is a must.

This is an old Fort built by the the Germans and prisoners of war during WWII as a German Coastal Battery. Interesting to visit and just wander around. We had perfect weather and it was beautiful.

A German submarine base from WW2, restored by local enthusiasts. 15min by car from Kristiansund Centre, where outdoor shoes. Best to visit with guide ore on a open day, free of charge. You can go there anytime.

It's 20 minutes by car outside Kristinasund in a residential area. Busses probably go out to the area but not all the way. Signs to the fort is also limited.
