The Atlantic Sea Park is great for kids, just make sure to plan according to the seals and (main tank) fish being fed. We went in a rainy day, our 12 years old (just) enjoyed it. For us it was OK.

Atlanterhavsparken is a wonderful aquarium focused on the sea life of the Norwegian coast and the Atlantic, with displays that are as natural as possible. There are large tanks with multiple species and smaller exhibits as well. The path through the building is well planned...More

Good place to view the Atlantic aquatic world. Doesn't have all kinds of creatures though. The Penguins show was disappointing. Overall an average experience

We took a bus from downtown Alesund (opposite the Art Nouveau Museum). It took about 20-25 minutes. Check the schedule or ask the driver which bus 618 stops right in front of the Aquarium (sign says so on the front of the bus). Last bus...More

The sea park is small with limited species, and it cost extremely expensive for the visit. You most probably can touch some fishes in the open aquarium, which make the kids fun. If you staying in Alesund for few days, this maybe one of the...More

Very nicely laid out and watching the penguins being fed was a highlight. If you go on a tour from the cruise ships you don't get nearly enough time here!

Not quite, without a taxi. Take along a couple of friends and share the ride (taxis come expensive in Norway).
