Loved our afternoon at the aquarium. Watched the seals get fed and the penguins. Also saw the diver in the big tank feeding various very large fish. Pleasant afternoon.

Very interesting. Our 8-year old girl was in heaven. Very close, but still out of the town. Very nice surroundings with beach and "park" close to it.

Penguin, seals and huge cod! An awsome experience for the entire family. Might be a bit expensive at 370 NOK for two adults but its worth it.

We took our 5 month old and 2.5 year old, both loved it. For the little one, it was all about the colours. Our eldest found the first part slightly scary as it was dark but he soon warmed up to it when he got to see all the fish. There was so much for him to do, we could... More

The Atlantic Sea Park is great for kids, just make sure to plan according to the seals and (main tank) fish being fed. We went in a rainy day, our 12 years old (just) enjoyed it. For us it was OK.

Atlanterhavsparken is a wonderful aquarium focused on the sea life of the Norwegian coast and the Atlantic, with displays that are as natural as possible. There are large tanks with multiple species and smaller exhibits as well. The path through the building is well planned and allows you to see everything in an organized way. There is also an outdoor... More

One of the best things to do in Aalesund. The activity pool I fun for the younger, where they can fish for crab and see and touch starfish and lobster. Can be crowdy when the diver feed the fish so be early. This is not a problem when they feed the seals since this presentation is outdoor. Bring a umbrella.... More

I saw a lot of weird and wonderful fish and crustaceans I haven't seen before. More than just fish too. Lots of information about birds, the marine life and environmental protection. And there was an interesting photographic exhibition also. The fish feeding was entertaining but I wasn't happy that the diver held onto a wolf eel for as long as... More

Good place to view the Atlantic aquatic world. Doesn't have all kinds of creatures though. The Penguins show was disappointing. Overall an average experience

We took a bus from downtown Alesund (opposite the Art Nouveau Museum). It took about 20-25 minutes. Check the schedule or ask the driver which bus 618 stops right in front of the Aquarium (sign says so on the front of the bus). Last bus leaves the site at 2:00pm so watch your time. Cost 47NOK We were fascinated by... More
