Whetheer you go along rv 7 from Norheimsund to Granvin, and crossing the Hardangerfjord bridge, or if you prefer a ferry crossing from Tørrvikbygd-Jondal, or Kvanndal-Utne-Kinsarvik you will find wonderful fjords, mountains and villages along the way. Ulvik, Jondal, Eidfjord or Kinsarvik are all worth a stop along the way. You will not get to see much when driving through... More

The Hardangerfiord is one of the most spectacular fiords of Western Norway. And what is special: well we have the great glacier of Folgefonn, which can be seen both from the western and eastern side of the Fiord. We have the spectacular farms high up the mountain side, which were established hundreds of years ago, to avoid the Taxman. Kjeaasen... More

The weather wasn't great, but the view was still spectacular. We took a boat cruise through Norled with an excursion to the Hardangervidda Nature Centre and the Voringsfossen water fall. The nature center was not that interesting, but you could grab food and souvenirs. The water fall was worth it. Highly recommend having a good, insulated rain coat, hat, and... More

We experienced Hardangerfjord by driving all around it and taking the Torvijbygd - Jondal ferry. Good roads, spectacular views, and an interesting perspective of the fjord from the ferry. Highly recommended.

We did the round trip from Bergen with the bus to the ferry. The bus was packed with every seat taken and some standing. The boat is an actual ferry that stops at the various towns along the way, so commentary is minimal. The sites are wonderful and spectacular.

One of the longer fjords in Norway. Beautiful green water, steep cliff sides and waterfalls. We enjoyed driving along the side of this fjord for many miles on our trip to Bergen.

I experienced fjord from the boat trip, which took almost 3 hours. It is the easiest and shortest way to see the beautiful nature.

We drove around the fjord taking national route 7 and 550 and the entire journey was amazing with plenty of oppurtunities to take postcard kind of photos. There are some small villages dotted around the fjord and we drove through a couple. We also took the Tørvikbygd - Jondal car ferry which is another way to see and experience the... More

Hardanger is absolutely loaded with excellent fjord views, activities, and things to do too numerous to list. It is located within 3 hours of Bergen. Your camera is a must. We went on several hikes around the Hardanger Fjord. Most hikes provide beautiful views of the main Fjord and several smaller arms. Troltunga is the main hike in the region.... More

Weather wasn't on our side to start our week long Norway adventure but that didn't stop us from experiencing all of the beauty. Our road trip included a scenic and beautiful drive through Hardanger Fjord on our way from Bergen to Sand (in route to Pulpit Rock). The beauty of the fjord was amazing even with the clouds, I imagine... More
