If you are going to Norway then don’t miss Bryggen. Take the time to discover the wharf area....not just the front....go behind and walk through the old buildings and drop in to have a cuppa and a bite to eat at the hidden little cafes....More

We enjoyed walking around this historic area. The old wooden buildings were well restored and give a glimpse into Bergen's past. we were disappointed that the museums in the area were all closed for renovations.

A piece of old Norway, nice and atmospheric. A lot of merchants that sell norwegian food, but the prices are too high. You can find almost all products in the nearest supermarket at lower prices.

This place is lovely to walk along and is right in the centre of Bergen centre. Lots of fun tourist shops to go into, both in the front and if you venture into the back of all the buildings.

walk between the houses and explore many interesting corners and sights. Best light in the morning and with Christmas decoration at night.

Its a UNESCO world heritage site and for a reason. Its a very pleasant walk around the evenings with the fish market on the other side of the water.

Excellent variety of shops, though stay out of the more touristy trinket places. Step off the beaten path to find the bakery, art work, and exceptional handcrafts.
