There is parking on the streets nearby and out front but it is limited if you have a hire car. On a winter trip so not overly busy. In summer I'd get the tourist bus. We didn't take the risk so left car in big car park and paid the full whack of a bus ride. Amazing views. Lots of... More

We wanted to hike from Ulriken to Mount Floyen. But after we came up to Mount Ulriken and we saw that snow all around, we realized, it could be hard 13 km:) so we decided to make just walk around the lakes and cottages on top. It was absolutely amazing. As I read before that in Bergen rains 360 days... More

Took my wife and friends for a cold wintertrip to the Bergen city rooftop with the cable car. Restaurant is closed until April but the souvenir shop serve hot drinks. The wether is sky clear and view is astonishing up here, and we can just imagine what a summer will be. A must if you are I Bergen to see... More

If you can only go to one place during your trip to Bergen, come here. I went during winter so my opinion is based on that. It was really chilly (I'm not used to the cold) and there is snow everywhere (slippery) but the view is spectacular. You are on the highest mountain (of the 7 in Bergen) and you... More

We went up the ulriken via cable car and the experience was memorable. The view from the top was exquisite. Though the restaurant was closed because it was winter and the whole place was on ice. We still enjoyed it and will recommend this place.

Take any bus from Bergen. The cable car entrance is a 5 minute uphill walk from the main road. You can purchase a ticket from the machine so no need to prebook. Cable car ride takes approx 10 minutes and is standing room only but the views are good. Once at the top there is a viewing area with great... More

If you have time and the weather is good Ulriken is well worth a visit. Great views from the top and there is a decent restaurant on the summit.

A very nice walk all the way to the top. Make sure you have seen the weatherforecast before you go, as the conditions can change very fast...

Another great viewing point over Bergen, this more of a mountain top view and therefore a lot more dramatic than using the funicular in Bergen town centre. Stunning views and the cable car is also very exciting!
