Mount Ulriken is a must-visit for the visitors of Bergen. You can reach the top of the mountain by cable car (return trip will cost NOK 150) and the view from the top of the mountain is fabulous on a sunny day. The base station is about 3.5 km from the city centre and you can reach there either on... More

Good trip up there. You can get a bus from outside the tourist information centre which is at the back of the fish market, but quite a walk up hill to the cable car station. But what a view when you get to the top. Good cafe up there and shop. You can walk or ride a bike back down... More

Have been to the top of Ulriken many times this summer, thanks to my adolescent puppy. There are so many beautiful routes up to the top, so if the weather is agreeable, do not miss this whenever in Bergen.

Get the #2 or 3 bus from Xhibition and take the cable car up. A swaying ride and heady views all around, definitely the best in Bergen. On a clear day you can see for many more miles than from Fløyen.

Mount Ulriken is accessible by cable car and there are amazing views. Beware though, in Winter the cable car is often closed due to wind conditions, so check the forecast before you plan your day!

Catch the old bus from town to the lift, suggest getting earliest bus to avoid long queue and waiting time. Views over Bergen and mountains stunning

Easy access by cablecar, but With good fotwear, walking up and Down makes the experience more Complete. Rather spend Your Money on Food/drinks at the top

It is not the easiest mountain to get on, but it is definitely worth doing it if you are fit. Fantastic nature around, though when we were there it was very cloudy so the views were limited.

good views from top but area very rocky and steep in parts. not easy to walk around. view is spectacular ..i found it quite expensive for what there is to do. it is not suitable for people who are not very mobile. cafe has spectatcular views of surrounding area and serves meals and drinks. it has outdoor tables and chairs...
