yes - just get to the starting point of Mt Ulriken and start walking :) We took the #3 bus from the Brygge area to the hospital stop. The mountain is in this area, with the cable car ride to the top where you start. We started around 10am - and the fog burned off after an hour - it's... More

Great service by cable car with amazing walk if you prefer to reach summit and rich rewards when you get there. Why not carry on over Vidden to Floyen.

The view at the top is amazing. I didn't like the restaurant at the top but its good if you only want a cold drink. There are a lot of activities to do like hiking, climbing, and zip-line.

We had a stange start - we took the cable car, got locked in for 15 min still on the ground, and were told there were some computer problems and the cable car had to close for repairs. Determined to see the view and use our tickets we returned the day after and it paid off big time. The view... More

Cable car runs frequently, costs about £10 one way, great views from the top , much higher and better views than Floyen Catch a number 2 or 3 bus from near bus station for about £2.50 then a 5 minute walk to lower station Lots of options for walking from the top, but we did the Vidden trail which is... 1. Do not go to the Tourist Center (2nd floor of the Fish Market) for ticket. The queue there is too long and move too slowly. It could be because unprepared people depend on the counter completely to figure out where to go, how to get there, what to do there and loads of "what if's". There is only one... More

We have been there with small kids 6 and 3. For our younger it was difficult hike. Although it worth to see it: fabulous views, beautiful nature. There also restaurant (didn't eat there) and place to eat bringing food. Highly recommended!

Amazing scenery from the top view. Good resturant, albeit expensive. Lots and lots of possible hiking tours, e.g. to Fløyen.

I had a workshop at the Bergen University. After finishing the course, I and my family went to the Mount Ulriken since it is really near. Just walk up the stairs to the top (about 3 min) and you'll see the entrance. I forgot the price of the ticket but you can buy there through a ticket machine and pay... More
