6mins up by tram and get a full view of beautiful Bergen. It was a Sunday so it was crowded with tourist and locals. Went on a short hike to the lake. Beautiful peaceful lake. Enjoyable to spend half a day on the top.

I thought I knew funiculars, but this one was special. It goes way up the mountain, and indeed has stops along the way, presumably for locals who live on the mountainside. The ride was fun with a great view below. As it was not a...More

Unless there’s a crowd waiting, make your way to the front of the car on the way down (and in back on the way up). Wonderful view

Took the funicular which is already a nice experience on its own. The views are very nice and the forest trails at the peak are well kept and nice to walk. Definitely worth it if you're in Bergen!

This is definitely worth a visit during your stay in Bergen. A return trip costs the equivalent of about £10, and the view from the top is absolutely spectacular. Whilst at the top, do take the opportunity to do some exploring. There is a selection...More

The view of Bergen was a sight to behold. From the top, you can see the Bergen waterways and city. This is a must-see.

What views! Not so good on amenities in April - but big crowds. At least the rest rooms were open. Good hiking trails.

Beautiful affordable way to see gorgeous views of Bergen. The funicular is 95NOK return of purchased on the day. It is also possible to buy your ticket using the Fløibanen app, which is free to download. Tickets are slightly cheaper if purchased via the app.

Tok the cablecar to the too. Nice area to walk around in, also if in a wheelchair. On the too you can bring food for your pen picknic or buy food at the restaurant

It's a tram built on a steep mountain/hill side. I can't remember the ticket price, could be 50k, but it's very well priced and the view from the top (and the hot chocolate) are amazing.
