Our Rick Steves tour book of Norway said the locals thought this to be “the best coffee north of the Alps: whatever that means - and it is quite good - but not worth going out of your way to find. The coffee in Bergen - in Oslo - in Norway! - is universally good, hard to go wrong. We... More

Called in for a cappuccino on Monday afternoon and was greeted by a lovely barista who was very helpful. After being tempted by the home made carrot cake on offer which was lovely the barista helped with my purchase of coffee beans :)☆☆☆☆☆

Came here on the first day in Bergen, right near the funicular up the hill and close to the Harbour (fish market). Friendly service, tasty Gulrot (Carrot) cake and a strong coffee. Tables outside for people watching or a bench inside :-)

This is a very smal, but very cozy coffee shop. On warm summer days it is possible to sit outside on chairs or on the gras a few feet away. They specialize on exotic coffee, but also have a smal assortment of jams, candy and other treat for your coffee time. The place is cute and the staff very helpful... More

This little coffee shop is well hidden at the top of a street and a staircase. It is well worth passing by the Starbucks below and continuing to the top to get a cup of coffee at the Det Lille Kaffekompaniet. They offer a variety of coffee and pastries/baked good. We had a cortado and a chilli hot cocoa. Both... More

I was welcomed with a tasty apple cake and frothy cappuccino. The staff was very helpful and brought my drink to my seat. There are a few bar stools that look out into the lane way. A very warm experience in a wet, cool Bergen day!

We came here to sit outside right in the alley but then it started raining so we needed to get inside. We did bot regret that because inside there is so much to explore on so little space :) we had cappuccino and it tasted really great, coffee lovers will be happy. The cakes and cookies looked great, but sadly... More

This place serves really good coffee, the barista knows her stuff. But don't expect much to eat: they only had cookies and one cake. Also nice is that you can sit outside.

This was one of many stops on our cafe crawl around Bergen and this was one of our favourite little Cafes we stumbled across. It's a tiny little cafe, hidden in the cobblestone streets near the mount Fløyen cable car. It has friendly staff and a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. The coffee was great and they had a small but tasty... More

We stumbled across this place just across the way from the start of the funicular railway to Mt Floyen - we had walked back down and were in need of a refreshment. This place was perfect and served excellent coffee and salted caramel biscuits. It's tiny with only a couple of small tables inside and out but it is a... More
