Before the tour we received detailed information about the tour and a at which place to meet. Thanks Chayenne. She has also sent us helpful restaurant suggestions in advance.
Our guide was Ina, we had an awesome time with.
From different salmon flavors to reindeer sausage with traditional topping, fish soup and other fish dishes, white lady cake and a very charming bar in the end to taste different beers and aqua if, the tour was awesome. Ina explained us not only about the food and drinks, she also answered many questions about the Norwegian culture and especially about Bergen and the people of Bergen.
It was really a nice atmosphere ("Kos" ;) ) thanks a lot Ina for all the great time and all your hints and suggestions during and after the tour.
PS: @Ina we tested the KitKat alternative but we think, that "Kvikk Lunsj" is not so good compared to KitKat ;) ;) hahah, but tastes are different. Thanks for pointing out, the discussion will continue ;)

Excellent tour with Ina, a well informed well travelled tour guide from Bergan itself. Lots of yummy food and interesting information. Ending up in the Lervig bar at the end was a joy.

We really enjoyed our recent experience with Bergen Food Tours. Our guide, Ina, was a joy and well prepared to show us her city and its food. Well organized and comprehensive, we checked a lot of boxes in three hours. We always try to get a walking food tour early in a visit to a city and we can highly recommend this one.

My husband, father and our 1 year old baby had a fantastic tour with Bergen local Ina. She was an awesome guide relaxed, friendly, enthusiastic and engaged. She made sure she chatted to all of us in the group and made sure everyone was happy and enjoying the variety of feasts we tasted. The food tour is an easy and fun way to see a little of Bergen and Taste a broad variety of local cuisine- from the seafood markets and the wide variety of smoked fish and Salmons; reindeer hotdogs and the brown cheese cheesecakes just to name a few! My husband particularly enjoyed the beer tasting!! This small group tour was great fun for all ages and a lovely way of seeing beautiful Bergen and tasting its offerings. Cheyanne was wonderful and friendly and very accommodating with the booking process and my mistakes!
To make our life easy high chairs we’re waiting for us everywhere we went, they were so accommodating of our little son!

My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much. Rachele was a wonderful guide, and the communication both before and after the tour was excellent. The food we sampled was tasty and varied, with the plukkfisk dish from Bare Vestland a definite group highlight. I would have liked one more food sample, to feel full and satisfied, but then again I do have quite a large appetite, therefore, I’m sure most people would be more than happy with the amount of food on offer. Thanks Cheyenne and Rachele for a wonderful introduction to the Bergen food scene. :)

My wife and I joined Cheyanne's tour a few weeks ago. We have been on many of these types of tours but hers was one of the best. Cheyanne is a very enthusiastic host who has put a lot of time and effort into organizing her tour. You taste many of the Norwegian food and drinks but in addition she gives you a great deal of insight into Norwegian culture. Also her communication from pre tour to post tour is great. My wife and I highly recommend her tour.

A great tour of different restaurants, each with a different Norwegian specialty. Hilde was very knowledgeable, and had some excellent information behind each stop and food selection. They were also very accommodating to specific dietary requirements. I highly recommend this tour, next time you’re in Bergen.

This was an excellent walking tour with information about both Bergen and Norwegian food. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour conducted by Hilde with nuggets of Norwegian culture and copious details on the food served. Their passion was infectious!

I would like to know some information about your food tours , because i like the food of Norway and i am a tourist , i need a tour for guide me around Norway and visit many places ,taste many food and rest with see many landscapes.
I want to know if the tour only includes food or pass to many atraccions.
The most important thing, how many people will be in the tour? , in the same way i would like to know about the food because i am allergic at many types of fish , i guess there is not a problem in this tour.
Also i have many questions like:
Do you need an identification to buy the tour?
What payments do you accept?
What is the Price with al the extras include?
Does the tour have extra activities?
Which place we are going to visit?
I would like to enjoy in this trip that is the reason i ask you many questions, by the way i think Norway has many places and food that are incredible!

Our food tours do not include visits outside of Bergen's city centre and we only visit food and drink establishments at this time.
Our Bergen Classic welcomes a maximum of 8 guests per tour and includes 6 different food and drink stops. For those with allergies to seafood, we can offer a vegetarian alternative when necessary. The locations we visit alternate from tour to tour as well as the dishes we try!
All bookings can be made in advance via our website using credit card. To view details regarding the price, times, possible locations visited, and any additional information can be found on our website.

Where do I join the tour from a cruise ship? How much walking is involved? I use a rollator walker and cannot walk great distances without resting. Thank you.

The meeting point of our tours as well as the locations we visit change depending on the date/time of the booking. We either meet at the Tourist Information Centre (approx. 7 minute walk from Bryggen) or Rasmus Meyers Allé 9 (approx. 14 minute walk from Bryggen). Our Bergen Classic covers 1.6km (a total of 20 minutes of walking) to 2.2km (a total of 28 minutes of walking) in the span of 3 hours. There are 4 resting stops and a minimum of 80 minutes rest time per tour.
