A good shopping mall is here. In addition, there is a permanent stage and there is always some show or activity here. Must visit for both these activities.

Good shopping mall with a variety of stores. Close to the main shopping street on Nordre gata and the main square where there are some market stalls and at times farmers markets, Christmas markets and food festivals.

The square is nice, there is Olav Tryggvason Monument right in the middle of it. As for the shopping mall that's pretty poor, quite a few shops but nothing amazing.

A traditional meeting place for people, no traffic, only street walkers, music arrangements, local shows, sporting events, all kinds of public parades espesially on May 17, the National Day of Norway.

It's easy to spend some time here while waiting for the rain to pass by. Many shops, plus places to eat. As malls go, this one is not really exceptional, but if you like shopping, you'll probably want to stop by.
