Dyreparken has a Nordic Vilmark (wilderness) section which is outstanding. Although it is huge and provides a large habitat for its animals, I saw moose, wolves, wolverine, otter, lynx, and Arctic fox. The entire park is made for families and kids. Very well done.

I've lived my entire life in Kristiansand, and the park is the pride of the city. It takes about 20-30 minutes from the city, and i recommended downloading the App "Akt Billett" (ticket in Norwegian), and buy it from there if you're taking the bus...More

Stroller friendly. The local animals stole the show. Wolves were my favorite. All others were icing on cake. Really really great icing. Not a visit I'll soon to forget.

We went on a monday. It was very very quiet and felt like we had the park to ourselves. The park rangers were able to tell us, in English, all about the animals during the ‘dyrenpresentasjion’ sessions Well worth a visit

We spend a nice quality day in this wonderful natural park, surrounded by animals! A huge place. As you enter, your eyes starts running around without knowing where to start from. A wild nature spot where humans just adapted to a zoo without ruining it....More

We visited as a port excursion on our cruise ship. It is very near the cruise ship port. The landscape is amazing. The habitats are built into the landscape of the area, so everything is very natural (no man-made cliffs, etc). We enjoyed just walking...More

Dyreparken was one of the few interesting options offered by Disney as a port adventures on a recent cruise - and it turned out to be one of the most interesting "planed" excursions for this trip. As part of this excursion, we were greeted to...More
