Here's there's something for the fisherman (like me), hiker, historian, runner, bird watcher, beach lover etc just a short walk from the main town. Many different tracks to walk, relics from WW2, secluded coves and beaches, etc.

Idyllic and peaceful piece of land just 5 minutes off the town centre. Good opportunity to take panoramic photos. Eastern side of island is easily accessible for walking or riding a bike but western side is rather difficult. Rocky steps and slopes.

This is a nice place, we love to go there time to time. There is a nice walk path, close to nature, clean and open. You will feel easy and lively in such locations in Kristiansand.

Situated by the harbour this small peneinsula jutting out into the Harbour provides an excellent opportunity for rambling in nature beside the city center. We spent 3 hours enjoying in the woods and clambering over the rocks

I'm going straight for the punch line. The view on top of this place is amazing and you get to see the whole harbour area and far into the sea. It's like a panorama of every ship, boat and islands.

Loved this area close to town. Easy to get to. Lots of good hiking in the area. Great views of the area. Some quiet and hidden trails take you to the best viewpoints. Nice variety and geological structures.
