wide variety of places to eat - many different cafes in one place, in the center of the city nearly in central railway station.

This is a large, repurposed part of the Oslo Central Station. It is very nice and contains several nicer restaurants and a hotel (The Comfort Hotel Grand Central). To find it, follow signs from inside the Central Station.

This is the old railway station at Oslo East, which is now Oslo Central Station. The most useful place here is “Oslo Visitor Centre”. This old railway hall has been converted to something that wants to be an "upscale food hall". Sure, there are some nice and trendy eating and drinking places there, but I find it hard to enjoy myself in this hall as I keep asking myself why am I there. To me, it feels like a place that lack purpose, identity, and does not serve the commuters passing through.

This was a train station before they renovated and filled it with restaurants. I really enjoy the vibe this place has, and on the right side down towards the opera house you'll find a great outdoor area. You can get sushi, burgers, Italian, Ben and jerrys etc. Bring some friends sit out in the sun and have an Aperol spritz.

This old Oslo station has been transformed into a commercial space of very high quality.
It contains the Oslo visitor center where you can get starting information of what to do in Oslo.

This building is connected to the train station. It is mostly just restaurants but also houses the Oslo Visitor's center, a small specialty grocery, an olive oil shop and coffee shop. it is a nice place to wait for your train, have a coffee and a bite to eat.

Walked through here on our way to the train station (connected) and our hotel. Lots of shops and restaurants as well as some convenience stores. Wish we had more time to shop and browse. Oh, and they do have a Starbucks!

I liked the statue in front of the hall. Inside there are many restaurants to choose from. We didn't eat here but it was good to see.
