This experience was completely overrated. At most 30 minutes of some very kitsch fun. The drink on offer is similar to the kind of wine cooler teenagers drink, the sculptures are amusing but do not have any sense of art to them - they are...More
My friend had a coupon to visit, so we dropped in on a tuesday afternoon and were the only ones there. Didn’t matter much, and gave us an opportunity to study the interior and all the decor made wholly from ice. Quite nice - with...More
A spell of good luck placed us muggles in the path of the Oslo Magic Ice Bar one scorching afternoon, as we were melting from the heat faster than a wicked witch. We asked the doorman if the bar was open, but all he said...More

We went in April 2017 & It was not the peak season. In fact, we were the only TWO people at Magic Ice that evening & it was a very nice attraction to visit. I am told whenever Cruise Ship docks there, it may be crowded in the June - Aug season. Otherwise, it should NOT be a problem. Hope this helps !
