The official arena for amongst other 'The annual Nobel Concert'
Oslo Konserthus is situated in dead city centre, near Oslo Raadhus (Oslo Town Hall), the royal palace, shopping and dining possibilities.
Best experienced through attending a performance, concert or other.

A modern construct it is a most impressive performance space. In glass and stone, the facades extend quite an imposing dimension.

It is one of the foremost venues in the capital for concerts.

Easy to find, easy to enter, easy to store coats, easy to find our seats. The seating near the back was well-tiered, allowing great views with no heads getting in the way, and plenty of legroom too.
The Christmas concert is apparently well-known, so we booked tickets a few weeks before online. It was a great performance from the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and choir, with a few solo slots.
We didn't understand a word of the narrative but it didn't matter.
It would have been even better if it was a bit longer.

Another very Oslo complex. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to enjoy the concert, However, Outside sculptures, though may not be special by themselves, make the building look more attractive.

We were 4 adult young People (70), the 1400 others had, seen from the balcony, gray, white, colored or no hair.
The whole Room eventually became steady waves of clapping hands, standing people and responding voices on many refrains. If the Pricilla Presley concert was heavenly, this was pure Earthquake.
Elvis with Ensemble couldn't thank the audience enough for their very first Concert on a long tour. Talk about coming home to their own .... Norwegian Fans.
At the end Elvis walked around, sometimes several Bench Rows over half the hall and thanked and hugged people. Guess if he was happy too.
Not to forget to mention the older lady in a Wheelchair sitting almost behind, who also got a great hug from the one and only this night, Elvis Grahame Patrick Doyle.
Thank you, mr. Doyle, you made our evening to a fantastic Performance

A quiet evening in Oslo Konserthus is not wrong. Nice entrance to the hall with space and style. We heard music by Andrew Lloyd Webber which is never wrong. Nice concert and strong singers. Terribly expensive parking 50 Euros for the evening. Nice wardrobe, but toilet cacacity is not impressive. Women queued 20 meters outside „ladies“.

Truely enjoyed the New Year Concert at Oslo Konsertus. Fantastic musicians and soloists, very mannerly and proper bar with a glass of cava running at 105 krons but they also offer other drinks too. You can in fact order your drinks in advance and then they will be sitting in a right seat waiting for you to enjoy your moment of relaxation during the break. Typical Scandinavian free open cloakroom, so wearing your furs might probably not be a good idea unless you want to be thinking about your coat instead of savoring the music. Whatever was the last piece, but they sang it all together. Twice. Because of encore! And before the general performance and each piece separately the conferencier would speak for a few minutes obviously cracking jokes as which you can't understand as you speak no Norwegian but everybody around is laughing, so bring a local friend to get the complete experience. They do offer free beautiful programs but only in Norwegian.

I went here for the first time with some colleagues for the Guy Tang show in May.

Great location, not difficult to find, just a bit confusing once we got inside and tried to find the right room.

Have tried Oslo konserthus both for concerts and eating lately. Nice venue for concerts and the food served for lunch during a business conference was good. A lot of open space is great for the experience.

With more expectations next to visit Elvis in heaven, we entered this great Concerthall in Oslo, Norway. The stageevent promised a lot of "bestmusicever" feelings.

Different kinds of Musicians entered the Stage and we were excited when we understood that it would be an enormous event we sat waiting for. Then entered the artists as follows: Stephen Ackles - Vidar Busk and Paal Flaata. They did'nt look like, but..... what a sounds like.
It started with rock'n roll at it's best. Then the Legend of Guitarplaying - Vidar Busk played several Compositions and then....: the enormous voices of Flaata and Acles with:
Gospel, Rock'n Roll, Lovesongs, you name it. Just listen to: DIXIELAND, HOW GREAT THOU ART, not to forget, in my opinion, the greatest of them all: IN THE GHETTO.
Before performing this one, they told us that Elvis song this song the first time in 1969, BUT the content is as actual today in 2017.
I have visited Graceland myself, and will never forget the feelings in the walls of what kind of life Elvis lived.
Good Bless You, Elvis.
