The Greenhouse is rather limited and so the exotic plans are also few and therefor kept somewhat small. Never the less the surrounding park and its coffee house are so nice. Perfect place for a relaxing walk, specially in springtime when the lilacs are in...More

We visited the gardens the beginning of April before the outdoor flowers had a chance to bloom. We did go in all the greenhouses, which were very interesting and pretty.

We enjoyed it here, the botanical gardens were small but free and still enjoyable. Takes about 1-2 hours to tour

A nice park, good space for the kids to run around without traffic. See the Flowers blossom in april and may, Spring in Oslo is beautiful.

Nice view on the nature, a really well-groomed and peaceful park. My favorite was the viking ship! Also the small lake next to that.

It's a nice green spot in the city, but not much more. Just like a small park, good for a run or walk with kids, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the poorest, most boring botanical garden I have ever visited.

Even though most of the flowers are gone the colors of atoumn more than makes up for it. And since there is much less people around you can walk around in peace and quiet.

Went to the gardens for a brief walk around. Ended up spending a good hour looking around and taking it all in! The gardens were really interesting, with every tree and plant labelled. All signs had an English translation which we liked. The sculptures dotted...More
