Kamikaze electric mopeds
May 2021 • Friends
Nearly run down by crazy electric hire moped driven by teenagers in flock . Two came towards me and I ended up being hit on arm by the one who did not alter his course. Total madness here with these mopeds being driven everywhere with no respect for life or limbs .

Aker Bryyge
Dec 2019
A former industrial site occupied by the Aker mechanical workshops and shipyards, the place was redeveloped in the 1985s into offices and apartment buildings in a modern architectural style using steel, glass, wood and bricks , it is a real success. Pedestrian streets covered between the buildings with many shops, most of them with fashion and design products, but also others shops (gifts item, flowers, shoes, glasses groceries and more ..) At the edge of the fjord, cafes, restaurants and food trucks , floating sauna ..View of Akershus citadel from the dock .
At the end of Aker Brygge, it's the the new district of Tjuvholmen, nicknamed the arts district. Several art galleries and art installations and the new Astrup Fearnley Museum. The restaurants in Tjuvholmen are renowned for their high quality and exceptional location.
Great view from the museum esplanade over the Oslo Fjord ..Must a visit

A must-see area in Oslo
Aug 2020
This relatively new seaside area has many restaurants, bars, and shops along the boardwalk. It is full of interesting architecture and unique outdoor areas. There are also several galleries and art installations, including the Astrup Fearnley Museum by a sculpture park and a beach.

Great Harbor Views
Oct 2019
I enjoyed the walk along the harbor, plenty of shops and restaurants. Found a Starbucks, allowing me to warm up a bit and write a few postcards. Great views of the Fortress across the harbor.

Nice stroll
Jan 2020 • Family
A good place to take a stroll and see both the beautiful views and unique modern architecture.
I do not recommend eating in the area though, as the prices are really high

Nice waterfront area
Dec 2019 • Friends
Nice waterfront area. With many schools , stores adorning the facade. This is where many cruise shops dock. Nice place for weekends , day offs , out of towns excursion. Views of the fortress can be seen. Can be reached by tram to start or end the city tour. Sculptures can be seen near the shore. Restaurant abides for what we want.
