I was expecting to see more of the history of the wharf, but most of it was converted into glass-clad residential and commercial complex... From certain angles, they look rather cluttered and claustrophobia even... The restaurants seem posh and classy, but the food was just so-so... Too touristy in general.

Do come here at different times of the day as it has many moods. My favourite was when the fjord was half iced over and there was... More

We strolled through this modern area in search of having a couple of beers. Although we ultimately found that we were a bit disappointed with the shopping offering that was all about the chains and nothing quirky. The development looks a lot like modern shopping developments popping up all over the UK. In the sunshine the views are stunning and... More

Go for a walk for a beautiful view of the city and the harbour. Fun art and architecture along the way. Lots of nice restaurants, pubs and coffee shops to visit - all price levels. Normally quite crowed on a sunny day but it`s worth it! Visited by both locals and tourists.

A beautiful place to walk by the harbour with amazing view of the sea, boats and the buildings. There are also restaurants, bars where you could take many amazing photos from here.

Nice boardwalk in the harbor with restaurants, bars and the modern art museum. Great view on the Oslo fjord and Akershus citadel.
