A really nice atmosphere well suited to families of babies or toddlers perhaps less interesting for more mobile and wayward children. Great for meeting friends or adult couples. Good selection of gourmet quality and artisan foods among a number of firm staples. I never leave disappointed and always wish I had more time and space to fit more food in!

This food hall is a great stop if you’ve been strolling the paths along The Akerselva, visiting the funky boutiques & vintage shops in Grünerlokka, or you went to a show at the Dancehus or Vulkan Arena. Great to choose between lots of restaurants, both casual market-style & sitdown, to choose from here, & within a block. Several stalls have good souvenirs to take home, like honey from the building’s roof & reindeer sausage.

This food hall is situated in the Vulcan sustainable living project which is worth seeing for itself.

So many great restaurants redirecting different cuisines. The choice is to sit within a restaurant and eat a particular cuisine or sit in the main hall and choose from a variety of restaurants. The food hall is not like ones you find in a mall - it’s so well appointed and welcoming and you feel like you’re having a dining experience.
We had Asian Noodles and then bought pastries and sushi to take home - so good!!’
Highly recommended!

Some of our friends recommended us this place as somewhere to get great food for reasonable prices.
And that's pretty much what you get. There is a great variety of places that offers nicely looking food or ingredients for cooking. We had fish in one place and also bought ourselves macaroons at another. All was really awesome; in terms of athmosphere it might be a bit nicer but it still has its own charme and you know what you get at such a place anyway.
Only minus was a (false) fire alarm that was only announced in Norwegian and we had to ask someone to explain to us what was going on.

Pleasant Walk along a small river of Akerselva will get you to this “deli and street-food temple” of Norwegian capital.
Excellent selection of small shops, bakeries, tapas bars, cheese vendors...You can do your groceries there but also have a decent meal in one of many food corners and restaurants or cafes. And Grünerløkka is just across the river.

Loads of choice in this lively food hall, ranging from Mexican and Italian to traditional Norwegian and plenty more. Not especially cheap but still fairly reasonable prices by Oslo standards. A perfect spot for a chilled out lunch or dinner.

One of the cleanest food halls I have ever been to. Not cheap, but the food has great variety and taste. It's quite peaceful, even when packed, and plenty of places to sit. Bathrooms are downstairs and you can reach them stairs or elevator. It's also a short walk tom Blå Sunday market and a charming walk along Akerselva.

Cheeky little food hall with an excellent vibe. Plenty and choice ranging from Asian to pizza to fish and chips to sushi and all in between. Cupcakes for dessert were a must. Also has a bar unseen with live music which was fun. The beer for me was very expensive so make it last! (0.4l £7.20).
Great place to eat if you’re not sure what you fancy
