During my second day in Oslo, early in the morning, I walked from Anker Hostel to this mosque. Sadly, I didn’t get to enter the mosque because it was closed in the morning. No activities seen. But, walking to this mosque made me aware of the Gorland Street where you can find plenty of halal restaurant, mostly Middle East cuisine and took the metro at Gorland Station to City Hall.

Came here on Wednesday night to pray. Also advised that we were unable to get a hotel for the night and requested if we could stay the night at the masjid. We were told that they couldn't accommodate us as they closed after Isha prayer. Nice building and interior.

Visited earlier today. Lovely decor both indie & out. They must be renovating it as the minarets are shorter than in the pictures already posted. They have a women's prayer area as well (ground floor).

The building was closed so I did not attempt to go in. As a fan of architecture I found it very beautiful. One oddity is that I felt like I was being watched while I was looking at the building and taking pics. I am not sure if that man thought I was going to damage the building or what. I believe the building across the street from it is a prison. It is also across from a small playground.
