Oslo, recent winner of the EU's European Green Capital Award, is best discovered when active and outdoors. Explore all the places a bus cannot: take a bike tour and cycle through the Royal Palace Gardens or next to rushing waterfalls in the downtown; rent a bike and make your way to the various beaches along the coast; hike among the hills and lakes in Europe's largest urban forest; or island hop on one of our nature walks. Let Viking Biking and Viking Hiking show you all Oslo has to offer.

We visited Oslo when on a cruise. The first day in Oslo, we took the cruise-provided coach tour of the city highlights - so, today we wanted something different and the “Off the Beaten Path” tour was a great alternative. (I also love bike tours...More

We rented two bikes from Viking Biking and the service was great! We were in and out of the shop in about 10 min, the bikes were in excellent condition and more comfortable than our own bikes back home. It took us about 4 hours...More

We took the route "off the path" - great experience. Pat was our guide, we had a blast, he was savy and we appreciate how he enjoyed explaining historical facts and about Oslo and Norway. Our ride was for three hours and approx 11 kms....More

Hi Fabian, Thank you for the nice review and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed the "off the beaten path" tour with Patrick. He loves guiding that tour, because he actually lives along the Akerselva River Path, along which much of the tour...More
