Approximately 1 hour trip from central station by train, such a short trip for a marvelous place! Beautiful ski arena and very enjoyable even for a beginner skier. Too bad is we can't get an instructor on the spot, so be sure to book in...More

I only had a morning spare in Oslo but this was sufficient time to ski for a couple of hours although slightly pricey however everything is pricey in Norway. Worked out around £95 for rental of boots, skis, helmet and slope pass however the ski...More

Down hill skiing just 30mins from Oslo. For the expert, experienced skier this is not that exciting, but it's excellent for the first ski run of the season, or a day out for the new beginner. Can get very busy at times.

Just simply AMAZING. It's safe to say the one ski lesson I had certainly did not work, and I took my skis off after around 10 minutes but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. If you want to ski, the equipment hire is fab and cannot fault...More

I love snowboarding in Norway, well maintained slopes, quiet and all in all very reasonable if you plan ahead' Oslo Vinterpark is small but for a short break with beginners was ideal. We fortunately had 10-15 cm of fresh snow when we were there which...More

So, during a 4 day visit to Oslo, we were keen to see if we could do some skiing. Must say, this is really convenient to get to. Metro line 1 takes you nearly there. Although the Vinterpark website suggest you could walk, need to...More

On learning that my business trip was going to finish a bit earlier than planned, and having a flight booked for the next morning, getting a few hours in before the Tryvann closing time of 22:00 was too good an opportunity for this keen skier...More

Could only manage a long weekend ski break, found cheap flights to Oslo and decent hotel nearby the Vinterpark, so went there for 3 of our 4 days, and was pleasantly surprised. We'd landed at 10am, driven to hotel, checked in, and went straight there...More

Should be all good. Suggest use an Oslo Pass or a Ruter (the city travel company) all-day travel pass for the metro & bus.
