Recently spent two nights in Oslo on rail tour. Found time to visit this gem of a brewery twice. Terrific selection of local beers and if you are a real ale enthusiast you have to try some here (try a "flight"of four beers to find...More

This is a nice bar. Here you will find several types of craft beer brewed in house. I like the concept and the setup. It is like a small beer hall with white caulk walls and long tables. Sit down with your friends or just...More

The staff were friendly, in contrast to the prices. Good quality of beer and a rather pleasant venue. Beautiful fireplace. Cheapest beer (0,4L) is around 84NOK but depends on what they have on tap.

This place was a great find! It had a cool and cozy vibe, with an arched brick ceiling. The bartender was really friendly, and let us try samples of their different beers until we found just what we wanted. I really liked the Belgian Waffle...More

Unfortunately it is a shadow of its former self when it opened in the 1800's and covered an entire city block at its wonderful location at the cross roads and along the river. Now just a micro-brew which you enter thru the old gate and...More

When you open the door and head downstairs it's like you're entering a whole different world. The brewery feels historic (even moreso than it actually is). The large family-style tables in the dark, candle-lit room give a medieval feel, which the exposed brick archways are...More

Visited here while on a weekend break in Oslo, cool bar with a really relaxed atmosphere, would be great on a cold evening, warm and cosy with nice beers
