The trip starts outside Oslo Visitor Centre at Jernbanetorget. We take the metro line Frognerseteren to Frognerseteren. This is a great train ride!
The view from Frognerseteren is magnificent. We will slowly hike down towards King Olav’s trail and over the picturesque Fuglemyrene before reaching Vettakollen. The view from here is out of this world. The summit offers a panorama of large parts of Oslo, the Oslo fjord and the districts surrounding Oslo. Oslo Hiking - The Canoe Adventure

Experience Oslo's near wilderness by sliding forward in a canoe on Nordmarka's many waters, from north to south. Oslo Hiking - The Krokskogen Adventure

The Krokskogen adventure is the classic long trip through a wild and gorgeous part of Oslomarka. A long walk through Krokskogen is the classic «Nordmarka» tour. Here you will see a protected natural preserve with untouched nature, high peaks and mysterious lakes. And not least, experience the good feeling of being under the stars at night, and feeling the very special atmosphere of the forest. The area is home to stories and legends and the sorceress Gygri (some people think she is still there, in the mountainside). Krokskogen is a part of the cultural heritage and is often mentioned in the Norwegian sagas.
