We took the January 3, 10am tour with Irina as our guide. She delighted us with enough information to make us want to get to know Oslo even more. Would definitely recommend this to travellers who’d like to see important sites along the Oslo city center and learn a little about its history. Great anecdotes about modern Norweigian way of life and its values were also shared by our guide. Thanks for the experience!

We took the tour on Sat 26th Jan and our guide was Irina. There was a much larger group than expected, probably about 25 people and I think this may have surprise Irina! Nonetheless she did a cracking job, I could always hear what was being said and the tour moved at a good pace sharing interesting facts covering bits of history, current affairs and insights into local culture. I really enjoy kicking off city breaks with a walking tour as it familiarises you with the city and normally provide a few gems of ideas or recommendations that you won’t get from googling! My fav was the link between The Scream and Krakatoa. Highly enjoyable tour and a great way to start the weekend.

Sofie is a great guide and an amazing person. She knows a lot about the history. At the end of the tour, I noticed that i learned lots of interesting information regarding Norway that I never heard before. She has a unique storytelling and with the small details she shares, she manages to keep you concentrated.
After the tour, I asked her recommendations for the rest of the day. Not only she gave me amazing recommendations, she also walked with me to train station and showed me the train I should take.
Keep up the good work Sofie! Those who gave 4 stars to her should be ashamed :)

We started off our tour at the tiger with Catalina, who was very friendly as she guided us through Oslo and recommended different places to visit or museums to see. Stopping at various places along the way and was more than happy to answer questions. We seen various sites such as the hammer breaking a swastika, the Akershus Fortress, the square where it was declared that Oslo would start, the city hall, parliament and university. Would recommend this tour to find out a bit about the lovely city you’re visiting.

There is absolutely no need to pay a fortune for a 'commercial' walking tour. We spent and enjoyable 90 minutes gently strolling around Oslo with a guide who was informative and fun (lots of bad jokes!). It's an excellent way to orientate yourself if you are new to the city. Our guide did not ask for money and we felt no pressure to pay anything. We gladly gave a tip, as did almost everyone else. Highly recommended.

An enjoyable 2 hours which was informative and fun. An excellent way to orientate yourself and help decide what you want to spend your time on later.

A fantastic tour. When we turned up and saw the size of the group (about 60 people) we were sceptical but the guide (Irina) was fantastic. Whenever she stopped she gave overtime time to catch up before she began talking. She projected her voice well so we could all hear what she said.
She was extremely knowledgeable and funny. We learnt a great deal about the city and can’t recommend it enough.

Our guide Irina (Irene?) was pleasant and knowledgeable. Group was fairly large but she always made sure that everyone could see or hear her. She tirelessly gave us numerous other sights to explore and local eateries to try at the end of the tour and stayed around to answer questions.

The two hours flew by! Irene is a great guide. I felt she gave us a tour that was both informative and entertaining and she was kind enough to stick around for everyone’s questions at the end despite the freezing cold. I loved the city hall and never would had gone in left to my own devices (thanks again for watching my stroller so we could see the second floor). Top notch, I definitely recommend this tour.

Did the 10am tour on 181/20 with Irina, and it was very informative and enjoyable tour. It went to the major sights in the centre. Although she was not a native, Irina knew all the history, was friendly and happy to stay at the end to answer questions and give advice. I would recommend to anyone on their first day in Oslo.

I’ve only been on two of these tours so far, so it’s a little difficult to say. My friends and I go on a rule of something between £5-10 (50-100NOK) per person, depending on how well you feel they’ve done to interest you in the city.

The tour guide who helped us did not have a card reader for tips. We hadn't been able to get Norwegian cash in advance, but our tour guide was willing to accept foreign money as a tip.

Hi. Is there a walking tour in the afternoon after 2pm in October in English? If not - please recommend another tour company who provides a walking tour in the afternoon. Thanks.
