Jarek the guide was very good, explaining lots of facts not only about the lights but about the country. He drove us for about 2:30h to find a clear sky. Unfortunately even with an amazing sky the lights didn’t appear, but it was a great experience. The only reason why it wasn’t a 5 stars its because they didn’t serve soup or marshmallows just snacks with a hot chocolate.

Well done Alexandra for ensuring we saw Aurora! our first tour by a different company was cancelled, so we had to research again and found Aurora Tours, 2 men on the tour had downloaded the Aurora app so with that, plus Alexandra's contact at the main office computer although we drove through snow most of the evening we arrived at a hill and clear sky and watch the lights for 1 1/2. Lots of photos and we could have as many of ourselves as we liked all emailed the next day. Great driving by Alexandra even when distracted by the passenger in the front seat! Even with good shoes and gloves I got cold feet and fingers so best to keep moving around while watching.

When we started our trip it was cloudy and snowing, so we were afraid of not seeing the northern lights, but Aleksandra drove us for about two hours to find a perfect place. We stopped at the beach and at the begining the weather still wasn't good but soon the sky cleared and we saw plenty of stars and soon after the Aurora appeared! It was an amazing phenomena! Aleksandra is a wonderful guide, she was able to find the ideal place to see Aurora and she could answer all our questions not only about the northern lights but also about the area. She was busy all the time setting a fire, preparing delicous snacks and drinks and helping with taking lovely pictures. It was an amazing experience with a perfect guide. Highly recommend!

Our guide Alexsandra met us at our lodge outside of Tromso. It was a cloudy evening and any chance of seeing the lights was slim. However, she drove us an hour away to a remote area where we parked up, put on our winter clothing (supplied), lit a fire and within 10 minutes the sky lit up. We stayed for around two hours watching the lights and eating local delicatessen and drinking hot chocolate (supplied). Alexsandra took many photos for us to remember our trip and emailed them to us the next morning.Forever grateful to Alexsandra for this fantastic once in a lifetime experience.
