It was a very lovely trip and I must say precieverance thus paid off sometimes😘 Mickey and Karon are very attentive to keep us updated with what was going on above us. With Mickey's bucket of 5mins extras we eventually see the Northern light dancing atlast!! It was spectacular and in awe with the phenomenal works of nature😍 bucket list tick✅️ and what a great reward after all xx thank you Mickey and team xx a big shout out to Adrian the bus driver who also had his Birthday today x

Thank you to all the members, especially to Koren. I decided to write a review with my friends on his kind and passionate. And David stopped the bus on our way back to town after the tour, showing his passion to observe the aurora, and as a result, we could see the red aurora dancing. It was awesome. I recommend this tour.

An incredible experience with, as our guide Jacob termed it, ‘an epic show’. Jacob’s knowledge and enthusiasm relating to the phenomenon only added to the wonder of the tour. Spotting light conditions as they occurred were skillfully controlled by Jacob and Ivan to ensure optimum opportunities to pull over and bathe in the glory of the Green Lady. Very tasty meal on the banks of the lake in front of the campfire. Ivan, anxious for our wellbeing dropped us back at our accommodation, well after buses stopped running. High quality photos and videos posted to us same day! A little more expensive than other tours but worth every NOK, GBP, Dollar etc.

Amazing

It was simply an experience that I will never forget. Nelsen brought so much enthusiasm and energy to our chase for the northern lights. Coupled with photo opportunities at the location before dusk (Skarsfjord), fire, food and stories from Nelson, we witnessed terrific northern lights that I will never forget. Nelson was so sure of the weather forecast that he got it spot on. Nelson’s knowledge and experiences played a part in allowing us to see the lights. Patryk, our bus driver, was equally important as he made our journey smooth. A lovely evening under the lights!

GREAT Northern Lights experience with Chasing Lights!

Our guide Felix was outstanding! He was so dedicated to finding the Aurora for us on a cloudy night that he took us all the way to Finland! The sky cleared and the Aurora was amazing! He worked so hard the entire evening to find a great location, set up a comfy "camp" with a fire for the evening. He was friendly and conscientious. The hot soup and hot drinks were very appreciated. The photos we got were great!! We went on 3 Aurora tours with 3 different companies and this was the VERY BEST!!

Northern Light Chase + Arctic Fjord Tour

I did two tours with chasing lights in January 2025. One Northern Lights Chase and the Arctic Fjord Tour. Both were just amazing. We were very Lucky to See Beautiful dancing Northern Lights and enjoyed a campfire with a hot juice. The Arctic Fjords were stunning. We also enjoyed our lunch at a bonfire. The guides on Both Tours were amazing. Super friendly and informative. They created a very nice atmosphere during the Trips. I definitely recommend to Book your trip with chasing Lights!

Dancing northern lights.

I went on this tour for the second time this week. And it was even more wonderful. Alex, Renaud and Constantin made sure we saw the best aurora there could be. We even saw the dancing lights. It was perfect!

Great snowshoe hike

I had an amazing tour snowshoe hiking the hills outside Tromsø. 4 hours of spectacular views and good company in the confident hands of our guide Silje. This is a great activity to explore the beautiful landscapes, fiords and mountains.

Success Despite the Odds

We had an amazing time with Andrea, Jacob, and Runar. After days of historic storms, cloudy conditions, and low aurora forecasts, we thought the odds of seeing the lights were low but decided to book with the professionals. So happy we were paired with this team. They scouted out a dark spot with the most stable conditions. The lights made an appearance at midnight after most of the other busses had given up the hunt, but Andrea and Jacob encouraged our group to stay out a little longer and we were rewarded with an amazing display. The team took incredible photos of the journey and there was no extra charge for this service. Really a great experience from start to finish!

Outstanding experience.

We had a fabulous experience with Lucie and Chasing Lights. The entire process was efficient and worked perfectly. The minibus was comfortable and the driver experienced and we felt safe on snowy/icy roads. Lucie was excellent and prepared us for the experience. We arrived at our site in 1.5 hours, stepped out of the bus to clear skies at Dadiord and the Northern Lights gave us an amazing show. They offered us additional clothing and boots if needed. The bus was available for those who got cold. Lucie built us a fire and served us hot beverages and food. The whole experience was worthy of a bucket list item. Afterwards we received a link to all the photos our guide took as well as a google map of our trip. The photos provided are excellent. They delivered an experience more than worthy of all the time and effort it took to get here. Highly recommend them.

Hello, we are planning to book the mini bus chase and we are currently contemplating whether to take our camera with us or not since it's a little impractical. We wanted to know if you will offer to take pictures of us too or only landscape pictures. We also wondered if it is possible to capture the northern lights with a smartphone camera. Now that I've been on the tour I can answer my own question because it might help others in the future. Long story short: I did not take my camera with me and I did not regret it. Our amazing guide Christina took the time to take photos of us and the landscape. And yes, it is possible to take pictures with your smartphone but they will probably never be as good as the ones from your guide.

Hi Nurul, In late March your chances will be somewhat lower than during the rest of the season because the nights will become shorter as we approach spring. Hello! On our Big Bus Chase we have an on-board restroom. On the Minibus Chase we make a stop or two at gas stations, if there are any on the way. Otherwise we use nature. :) You can book the tours directly on our website. Hope to see you soon!

Hi there, if your focus is seeing the Northern Lights I recommend visiting between mid September and late March. During this period the sky is dark enough at night to see the Aurora. I also recommend avoiding full moon nights. It's best to plan 4-5 nights in Tromsø for the best chances. Send us an email or live chat message if you have more questions and we'll be happy to help!

Hi Natalia, in terms of chances of seeing the Northern Lights all months between September and March are similar. If you want to experience snow I would recommend visiting from December. From December to January Tromsø experiences the polar night, many visitors want to experience that. You can book your tours with us directly on our website. Hope to see you soon! Thomas
