The Artic Cathedral which is at the end of the bridge is on the way to the cable car so you can do both. I walked across the bridge from Tromso City Center which is an easy 20 minute walk but you can drive there...More

Looks beautiful at night, lit up against the mountains. You can’t help but see it. During the day it can still be seen. The stained glass windows are beautiful. Very much an active place of worship. For me it’s beauty comes alive at night.

Stunning architecture and amazing acoustics! Went to a Northern Lights concert, half an hour, at 11pm. Well worth it, the sound was beautiful and just as I went in the Aurora appeared and danced around the skies. Magical.

Looks really impressive on the outside. On the inside it is nothing special, really. It is ok to completely miss the inside and just take some photos outside and keep going.

We visited the cathedral at midnight for a concert as part of our Hurtigruten cruise. The cost is high, as one comes to expect in Norway (and Hurtigruten) but the concert was wonderful and the setting really amazing. Inside, the cathedral is quite subdued, with...More

I believe the port for the larger cruise liners is a short distance away, but not far enough to be a problem. I think there is a small fee for The Arctic Cathedral and the Cable car is not that much further on from there... More

On Sundays there are three masses per day. Go to the tourist information in the city centre, and they will advise you. The bus boes from centre over the bridge to the Cathedral. Pål
