This husky sledding experience was amazing. We were picked up from Tromso and driven to the location by minibus. We got given thermal suits and boots and plenty of time to stroke/hug/play with the dogs. We then were given instructions on how to ride the sled and we went off. We stopped several times to switch who was driving the sled and who was sitting down. The views are amazing. We also stopped and the guide went round offering to take photos of you on the sled on your phone/camera. After the sledding we went into the wooden hut to warm up with hot drinks and cake. We then got more time to play with the dogs and were driven back to Tromso.

Great adventure. You actually drive the dog sled! And the dogs are so sweet and so eager to run. The people obviously care about their pups. This is a first class operation and s highlight of our trip. Gave us a taste of real Norway!

This was the best!. We had a chance to meet many of the dogs before we went on the dog sled. They were so sweet! And so much energy. They gave us a warm over-suit to wear, then. a briefing and explained how to actually run the sled. - much of the information was how to keep the dogs safe. So in pairs, one sat on deerskin while one drove, we hit the trail with our leaders' sleds guiding us. We switched off being the driver several times. This is not as easy as it looks but BOY! Was it fun! We actually ran our own sleds, stopping, starting and slowing the dogs as needed until we made it back to camp. Then the dogs howled--dinner time. What a glorious noise. They were all so happy. We were all very impressed how much care and concern the people who ran this showed their dogs. A first class operation! They truly care for their dogs. And what a true joy!

A great experience close to Tromso with happy dogs who are always so excited to go running in the snow. Lots of opportunities before and after the sledding for hugging the friendly dogs.

This was one of the best experiences of my life! We were very lucky with the weather but the dogs were super friendly and the guides really helpful. The clothing and boots provided were great and it was really great fun. I would love to do it again!
