No words, photos or videos could fully explain how amazing the experience was. The dogs are amazing and the views were absolutely spectacular.
The crew members were also great: very friendly, caring and helpful and also thought us how to help with the dogs. Overall this is a must and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for this experience.

Trip exceeded expectations by a very large amount. Our group of five felt completely immersed in the Husky experience. Welcoming, friendly, understated, informative and incredibly enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

While planning our trip to Tromso, we spent a great deal of time researching the different tour companies offering Husky Sledding experiences, there are so many of them. We chose Kvaloya Husky based on the fantastic reviews and it was definitely the right decision. There's a maximum number of 8 people with a comfortable journey by minibus, so that's already a bonus (as opposed to a coach carrying 40 or more people!).
The friendly owner and his team at the husky farm made us very welcome. We were encouraged to use their thermal jackets/suits to avoid damage to our own clothing & they have a warm, dry space where you can change. After meeting the huskies, a group of 4 went sledding while the rest of us sat in a warm tent having coffee, cookies and we enjoyed a very interesting conversation about life on the husky farm and all the hard work that goes into keeping so many dogs happy & healthy. They clearly love their dogs very much.
The actual sledding was a wonderful, peaceful experience, gliding through the landscape surrounded by beautiful mountains. It took about 40 minutes, so plenty of time to enjoy the ride & take some great photos. An unforgettable afternoon.

We had an incredible time. The owners and staff are all dog lovers and the dogs are well cared for. One of the dogs got injured during the sledding and the rider stopped immediately. The dog then rode back first class with us! :)

The experience is amazing for those who love dogs!

Great experience! Small family business (63 dogs + 3 employees + owner), passionate about what they're doing and why. I selected an option from Radisson Hotel in Tromsø city centre - the pick up (and return to the same spot after the trip) was timely and comfortable.
We were offered a change of clothes appropriate to the weather (rainy gear), which was greatly appreciated. We were split into 2 groups as we had 2 sleds and each fit 2 people and a musher, since the weather was pretty unfavourable (wind, sleet and all that jazz) - didn't get a chance to be a musher, but to be fair I preferred it that way as the staff with us clearly knew how to handle the bad weather conditions and dogs.
Overall, a great experience, made some great memories - if I can suggest anything, make sure you get a hat and gloves in the winter season since the dogs run pretty fast and the wind hits hard.

We got exactly what we we’re looking for: Small groups and a responsible treatment of dogs.
It was a great experience: sliding through magnificent landscape with well trained and kind dogs. The guides are very competent, and we could ask them tons of questions. We had plenty of time to spent with the dogs and see them play and calm down in their kennels. The owners have a strong and caring relationship with their dogs. Of course it is a business - but we had the impression that this lifestyle is not a show but really authentic.

We had an unforgettable experience. Simply superbly organised from start to finish.
You're provided with thick clothing and boots, you're in the middle of the great dogs, you get a briefing on how to handle everything.
The tour itself takes about 45 minutes through the hinterland, in the middle of the mountains with great scenery, a photo stop was made possible, then there was coffee, tea and biscuits in a tippi to round off the tour.
Highly recommended as there are only small groups, max. 3 people in the sledge and one musher per sledge.

It was a great experience, we felt like Amundsen in the wild artic environment!
Very nice staff and vivid dogs, although the snow was heavy and they had to work hard.

Booked a dogsledding trip here with my partner! Was super fun meeting all the dogs and going for a trip with them through the valley 😁 The guides taught us all about the work they do with the dogs and the basics of how to ride a dog sled.

The trip was a perfect length for us, and afterwards we got to enjoy some coffee and snacks in the heated tipi 😊 The crew seemed to love their jobs and as a small team it made the experience very authentic.

Would definitely recommend!

A beautiful experience: being a small business, activities take place in small groups, providing the opportunity to interact and ask questions to the guides. The sleigh ride lasts about half an hour with beautiful landscapes. Highly recommended activity for families and couples.
