The shop in Kystens Hus offers a diverse range of local and Scandinavian designs, coastal and fisheries-related products, our own especially designed Hermes II collections and other environmentally friendly high-quality goods. Around Tromsøya on tin sea with super-Truls as guide. I got to see seals, eagles and reindeer on the trip with this jewel of a boat.
Serving hot fishcakes, cold and hot drinks, storytelling.
Truls and the rest of the crew excelled with close and local stories and were available all the time.

A very well hosted trip, amazing views and very reasonably priced!

We took the 2.5 hour trip around the waters of Tromso and had a great time, the views are spectacular and the host was excellent - he took the time to speak to all guests individually, offering advice about the local area, making sure everyone was warm enough etc and describing the landmarks in great detail. Towards the end of the trip we learnt more about the history of the ship, overall it was a fantastic and relaxing way to see Tromso and the surrounding areas and we highly recommend it. Plus as a bonus it was one of the more reasonably priced things we did on our entire (very expensive!) trip to Norway!

Interesting, bracing, inspiring boat tour. Felt very looked after with cold suits, blankets, hot berry juice and fish cakes. The guides are just fabulous especially Kristophe whose love of Tromsø and his job shined through. So peaceful and grounding on this beautiful boat with all of its amazing history. I even got to steer the boat with the captains hat on, highly recommend!

Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful time during the fjord and wildlife cruise. From the stunning scenery and wildlife to the delicious fish cake and hot berry drink. The crew and guide Truls went out of their way to make it very informative and fun experience.

Wonderful experience

This tour was a true highlight of our trip to Tromsø! Truls told us much about the town, told us about the building that we’ve seen from the boat view! Gave us many tips about how to spend the best time in Tromsø and in the Northern Norway in general . The boat was so beautiful and clean! It’s over 100years old and it has a huge history itself and discovering it is another exciting event ! The whole staff of the boat was very friendly and it felt that they loved their boat and tried their best to make us feel comfortable onboard! They invited us for a cup of excellent black currant tea and it made our trip just perfect.
Additional cold resistant suit was provided

Extraordinary!!!
Beautiful boat with a very moving history - told by a friendly, passionate guide. The whole crew seem to be family - after just an hour... The captain let us hold the wheel and all were passionate about their boat, city and region.

A fantastic introduction to Tromsø

Truls and Håkon was very welcoming and gave us a fantastic tour of Tromsø.
We got to know history of the place as well as the boat.
I winded down and really enjoyed the scenery and nature.
We got to see eagles and seals.

Would go again just to enjoy the company of the crew.

My first trip was cancelled due to weather and the timely response for the rebooking was without a problem and very quick.

Crew was absolutely incredible. Answered all questions I had about anything and everything Tromso and Norway. Even tho it was what I would consider a small group everyone caught fish. Great trip for someone that wants to experience jig fishing or a first time fishing trip. I honestly can’t say enough about the crew onboard.

Best experience ever!

Seeing Aurora was surreal, yes its given! But! Another gem that’s waiting to be discovered just in the heart of the city, in the harbor. Hermes! Its luxurious, elegant but a humble boat with lots of features inside, rich in history and experience! The tour was never boring, the whole tour was so cold coz its winter, but the warmth of hospitality and smile of the staffs especially Truls 🙌🏼 made us feel warm all throughout the tour! Truls was the jack of all trades the heart of the boat, telling stories, cracking jokes, making and serving us hot drinks, talking photos of us, Everything you can think of! The staffs at the office are very hospitable and friendly, as well as the boat crew! The view was superb during the boat tour! After the trip Truls gave us a souvenir . We will definitely come back! We already recommended HERMES to our friends!
