We decided to book 2 different cruises with this company on our trip. I can safely say this has been one of our favorite vacation experiences to date! Highly recommend this unique small group experience! This is the only ship of its kind that gives you a lot of space and personal touch because they only take up to 12 people at a time. You aren't crowded and get to enjoy. The hospitality, safety and professionalism exceeded expectations at every turn! Plan on 2 separate experiences, 1 outdoor requiring polar cold gear for warmth, but a 2nd consideration that part of your journey is inside a heated luxury yacht......no shoes allowed, take slip on boots and layers! The Crew does their best to make sure you have an unforgettable experience to cherish forever!

If the northern lights are on your bucket list, then your visit to Tromso Norway must include a sailing tour with World Sea Explorer. During your cruise on this private yacht, you can soak in bucket-shaped hot tub outside while watching the northern!!! Those, not so adventurous, can stand on deck and capture great pictures of the breathtaking natural light show. Sea Captain Ken and 1st Officer Sachi are gratuitous and personable hosts. Captain Ken’s ability to promptly find places where we could see the Northern lights reflects, I believe, a very experienced navigator and seasoned nautical veteran. 1st Officer Sachi graciously provided our group with delicious hot soup and beverages as well as answers to all our questions about the trip. When we returned to port, the entire group agreed - the experience was magical.

Sachi and Kenneth are super welcoming, attentive, and friendly. They made us feel at home in their boat. The hot tub was a ton of fun and each group got their own time in it. We loved the reindeer soup and cookies. This is perfect for any weather rain or shine as there’s a lower cabin that’s completely sheltered from the rain.
Next time we’ll be sure to wear slip on shoes like fuzzy crocs so it’s easier to enter and exit the boat (Everyone takes their shoes off before going below deck).
10/10 recommend.

We chose the polar Fjord Cruise, including the hot tub, on the luxury yacht of Kenneth and Sachi. This was an amazing experience, Kenneth is so enthusiastic. He shared with us his experience and nice stories about Tromso. The colours, the landscape were so nice. I really recommend to try the hot tub, we were just 2 of us and enjoyed the 39 degrees of the water while the others were freezing outside. Don't expect to see whales or many birds but just enjoy a wonderful time. Thanks

Stella Oceana is a fantastic ship, mint condition, all needed equipment and comfort and with excellent crew, Sachi and Kenneth.
Easy access in downtown Svolvær, professional briefing pre trip and excellent equipment (warm, clean suits and boots and fishing equipment).
Great journey, fantastic servings (hot coffee, local beer, very impressive lunch!!)
Joyful interaction and support during fishing, cool teaching of how to improve our skills as well as how to deal with fish we caught.
Very nice hot tup experience on our way back to- the harbour

Our horrible tour company messed up our reservation for another boat tour and we booked the World Sea Explorers 10AM tour at the last minute. And I am SO GLAD we did! Not only is Kenneth the ONLY actual sea captain operating in Tromso, but their boat is the only boat in the area that can travel thru ice floes. It was really cool to push thru huge chunks of ice in the fjord and fish. I didn't catch anything, but I also didn't give it too much time because my hands were frozen--haha! We also got to meet the famous beluga whale Vladimir. And I swear Vladimir came over to us because Kenneth called him. He hung out with us for a while. it was so amazing. Definitely book a tour with them. They were both such cool people to get to know. We had so much fun on their tour!

We chose to try the frozen cruise and we have not regretted it. Sachi and Kenneth are very kind and very professional and leave you free to experience the beautiful sensations of this excursion. We cruised together with 4 other people, we practically had the boat all to ourselves. The Stella Oceana ship is charming, clean and very tidy. The tour lasts 5 hours starting from the port of Tromsø towards a partly frozen fjord. We had the opportunity to fish: it is not a fishing competition and we appreciated this very much. once we caught two cod Kenneth kindly told us that we had enough fish for us and asked us not to fish anymore. The fish caught was perfectly cooked and served on the return leg to Tromsø. Sachi illustrates what can be seen while navigating clearly. A beautiful experience and we recommend it. Well done !!!

In late November 2021, Me and 6 other guys from Bulgaria spent a week on board of Stella Oceana watching for - and diving with orcas and humpback whales.
Both the yacht and the service excelled!
Sachi and Khevin were always there when we needed them - for help and advice, thank you so much.
As a diver with 22 years of experience I'v been to many live-abords around the world, some of them very luxurious , but I've never got such personal care which I got on Stella Oceana.
As soon as you are ready for a trip to Norway, go for this yacht!
Both the yacht and the service excelled!

This was an awesome experience! You can tell Kenneth & Sachi love what they do by their enthusiasm and how they engage with their guests. They were amazing hosts, educators and good company! From the beautiful views to the delicious lunch, it made for a perfect day in Norway. I went with a friend and booked the hot tub & polar plunge option which was a unique and fun experience - I highly recommend!!

Captain Kenneth and Sachi were incredible. Their boat is beautiful and they made our experience so special. They welcomed us and made us feel so safe. You can tell they love the life they lead and creating memorable experiences for travelers. They helped my friends polar plunge and get out of their comfort zones. They are an incredible team and family. Everyone should support them!!!
