Your tailored tour for Northern Lights Experience! The beauty of the northern lights is truly striking. The expectations are naturally high from seeing many great photo illustrations. However, nature determines this phenomenon. It is all about playing on nature´s premises. And this is what I do. I grew up in Tromsø and outdoor activity was always my favorite. The Northern Lights can be seen anywhere when there is solar activity and clear sky. I have extensive experience in how to read and utilize nature and the weather for having the best possible experience of the Northern Lights. Every night is different, and you will get my honest assessment of the opportunities for your evening. I work with small groups, which gives greater flexibility for stops, activities and decision on the length of the trip.

Full of knowledge and a guide who loves sharing his passion for this incredible phenomenon… Bryanjar is totally dedicated to his passion and works with the Nature : we drove hours to find an opening and make the dream come true. Tour on 25/10/2022, tricky day for weather conditions and not high probabilities to see Aurora. The guide is a local nice guy, Brynjar, he explained everything once we were all on the bus, he was super nice and clear. He drove us to a really nice spot, sky was super clear. Unfortunately there wasn't solar activity that night, we took some nice pictures, light a fire, had some hot chocolate and cookies. Brynjar has been super nice, explaining everything in a very clear and professional way. After few hours waiting he also decided to try to drive a bit more further, hoping to see some lights. He dedicated also an extra hour to us, but unfortunately we didn't see Aurora. This can obviously happen but I can say that I would rebook a tour with him, worth every cent!

With nature and Brynjar playing for your team you will have the odds in your favour to see some spectacular northern lights! Don’t worry if/when Brynjar stops the car and says quite intensely: EVERYBODY OUT, GET OUT OF THE CAR QUICK! It’s just to get the most of what the north is showing off with :) Of course you have to be lucky - nature can be tricky. But the hot chocolate, hot clothes and photo tips make the wait pretty nice as well. Thanks a lot!

If you are on your mission to see northern lights in tromso .... trash all other tours and book with this one. Brynjar is the best guy, spots lights and stops where ever it is best. We heard lot of reviews from other tours that take you to one place and bring to back. Brynjar is a different kind if person. He truly chases the lights for your best experience. He is well travelled and can converse with anyone. Offers tripods, hit chocolate and cookies. We called him 18 days before we came to tromso. He booked us without any credit card deposits. When we met him at the pickup location he was all ready for us. Trust worthy, honest and sincere. Hope he grows as a big tour company. Took pictures and shared them with us. The group was 12 people. Small and cozy. Again, if you are in tromso for northern lights, set aside all other tour companies and pick this one. Amazing experience. Thank you Brynjar

My husband and I spent ages trying to choose what company to do a northern lights trip with as there are so many to choose from and eventually we chose arctic breeze and are so happy we did.
We had already been lucky to see the northern lights on the Friday of our trip but wanted to try a tour so that we could have a different experience and brynjar didn’t disappoint.
He drove us to many different places to ensure we had the best opportunity to see the lights and when they finally appeared took lots of photos of us and seemed as genuinely excited as we were when they finally showed up in the sky!
He answered countless questions made a fire and served us hot chocolate and biscuits too. He was so enthusiastic and kind throughout and couldn’t do enough for us. We received our pictures the next day too.
The tour was more than we hoped for and will def book with them again and recommend you do too!

At first, I booked this Arctic Breeze without any expectations, I've joined another tour with big group (around 50 people) and I thought it was too many people, I wasn't really satisfied, then I decided to hunt for aurora again with a smaller group (with 12 people) with Arctic Breeze, also with reasonable price. It was the end of December 2018 and the weather in Tromso was not good at all, it was raining and snowing and absolutely no clear sky. When we began the trip, Brynjar told us the real situation and he said he would take us far out from Tromso to get clear sky and probably until the Finnish border. I didn't mind at all. After few hours driving, I saw some cars and big bus decided to return back to Tromso, but Brynjar continued to drive (I really appreciate his CAN DO spirit that we really need to chase the aurora). We stopped somewhere after the border, and the sky was really clear (I even could see the shooting stars, twice). We could see aurora, the green light and the dancing ones!. It was not really strong activities of aurora but at least I was able to see it with my naked eyes. It was really cold but Brynjar offered me the warm suit that's really really helpful (for roaming around and waiting for more performance of aurora around 2 hours)!. He also made the bonfire, provided the small chairs, and hot chocolates (it was really good, compared to any other hot choco that I had in some other operators in Tromso). He also took our pictures with Aurora as the background. Brynjar really ensured that we all enjoyed the aurora experience. We went back after seeing some performance of aurora, and Brynjar drove us back to our individual homestay. I think it was really thoughtful because it was 3AM in the morning and the road condition at that time was so slippery (after the rain washed the snow). I was so happy not only having seen the aurora but also all the wonderful experience with Arctic Breeze. It was definitely my best night for one week staying in Tromso! And I felt so lucky to meet such a professional, skillful, with excellent service of aurora hunting guide like Brynjar!

Bryan is a real aurora hunter. He was plesantly guiding us to see best aurora ever.we moved easily with minivan on secret spots. I can just highly recommending him of you want to spend a magic night chasing aurora with an excellent guide.Thank you!!!

A great trip with Arctic Breeze. Brynjar was an excellent guide, knew some great and very beautiful locations to try and spot the Northern Lights and was very helpful in aiding guests with their photography.
We were taken to a spot by the water and were lucky to get a clear night following a particularly cloudy week. Brynjar lit a small fire, there were stools, snacks and hot drinks provided as well as snow suits to keep us extra warm.
We were treated to some weak but no less beautiful Aurora which capped a perfect week in Tromso.

My brother and I wanted to see the northern lights so bad, but we were only in Tromsø for 3 nights. So even though the weather looked really bad for the first night, we booked a tour with Brynjar. He was most kind and did not just take our money for nothing but rebooked us for the next night. And when the weather wasn't good again, it was no problem to go the night after this. So we finally went out and it was the perfect night. We saw the northern lights at the first spot we stopped and they were incredibly beautiful. Brynjar took some great photos of everyone in the group and gave us enough time to take numerous photos ourselves. Then we drove to an even better spot by the water and witnessed the most incredible aurora dance in the sky. We had hot chocolate and a bonfire to keep us warm.
In between he patiently answered all our questions about the phenomenon and dropped us at our hotel at the end of the night. It was a perfect evening and more than I ever dreamed of!! Thank you!

Hi, when is the best time to see aurora borealis? I meant a month.
There is no spesific month. It change every year. Sept. until April is good.
Every week has ups and downs. Try to avoid full moon. Weatherforcast is most importan. Clear sky !!
