highly recommend this tour company.
Our group of 8 booked this tour for 2 nights this month, Feb 2023. It was the best decision we ever did in order to see the Aurora Borealis.
Hannah was quick to reply to our inquiries, and booking with her was easy.
George, our tour guide was very professional yet very friendly and accommodating. He is amazing! He made sure and did his very best for us to see the lights. He built us a campfire, served us the packed food, told us stories, and took beautiful photos. He is a professional photographer. His emails with the photos were very informative with his personal touch. We spent two wonderful evenings with him. George, you're best. We are all grateful.
Thank you again, Hannah, Jeff, and George. We will all treasure the memories of chasing the lights and our keepsake mugs.
Tips:
Bring mallows and sausages on sticks, if you want to roast on the campfire.
You will need a camera to see the colors of the lights .
ENJOY the lights also through the naked eye.

Thank you George for three terrific evenings , chasing the northern lights. Despite the freezing cold, you were upbeat, positive and completely helpful to doing anything to keep us warm and comfortable. Really appreciated you even taking us a path in the snow so that we could sit comfortably around the fire, another area that you dug out! I did three nights of chasing the northern lights and a day trip exploring the Arctic. It was really beautiful. From the picnic lunch to the homemade soup, everything was perfect. I would look forward to joining any of their tours in the future.

Best Northern lights chase tour in Tromso

George our guide was very passionate about the lights , he told us so many things , what factors to check etc. He also told us the weather wasn't looking great he offered everyone a full refund if we didn't want to take the tour. But we were all up for it and and at the end we got very lucky !! He drove us to a place where the conditions were perfect we had to wait little bit but than the lights finally started showing. He took some really good pictures of everyone, had camp fire and soup and hot drinks. The whole evening was an really good experience. Highly recommended tour if you are in Tromso

Dream come true

Everything was beyond our expectations, George was our tour guide I was super happy about it because I heard he is one of the bests in Tromso. He prepared us mentally that we will have a long journey ahead to Finland because the sky was cloudy. After 3 hours his eagle eyes saw something in the sky that I swear no one could see that, he said we will stop here we will have some activity hear. We were all so skeptical because the sky wasn't clear and we couldn't see at all what he was talking about but after having some soup and hot drink the light came. This experience isn't comparable with anything else. Now I can understand why northern soul adventure tour has such a great rating among Tromso tours, you should just be patient and trust George. At the end I had some problem with photos that with help of Hannah it is solved. The best team ever. My suggestions to future adventures:
1. Take as much as you can war clothes, many layers it will be really cold
2. Bring your camera or iphone . George takes wonderful pictures too

Everyone present at the meeting point but excursion canceled at that time.

As indicated in the title we were punctual at 9.30am waiting at the meeting point and at that precise moment the operator showed up and informed us that due to weather the trip was cancelled. I would add that today's severe bad weather has been known for days, furthermore this excursion is advertised as guaranteed even in bad weather. Unfortunately, this lack of notice did not allow us to have time to organize anything else. It was enough to at least notify the day before.

Awesome Roadtrip

We chose Northern Soul Adventures because they offer tours in very small groups with max 8 person because we want it more privately.
We were on a Arctic Roadtrip with our guide George. It was amazing!
George showed us many awesome places like fjords, we saw reindeers and had a picnic on a beautiful beach on Sommarøy. George gave us also interesting information about the places and things on the way. It was a fantasic day! I really recommend to go on this trip with Northern Soul Adventures!

An amazing day

We had an absolutely wonderful day with Northern Soul on an Arctic roadtrip of Sommaroy. We went exploring the fjords and fishing villages, had fun on a frozen lake, ended up in a whiteout blizzard, explored beautiful blue sea beaches, spotted wildlife, had a tasty lunch at the top of a hill overlooking the fjord, investigated an old village. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and we had a great time on our small group tour.

Very Enjoyable

Sunday 24th of September. Ana picked us up from the Tourist Info Point in Tromsø. We had a mixed group of couples (from the Netherlands & India) and single ladies from USA, France and Finland. Ana is a very lively entertaining host and she showed us some of the beauties of Kvaløya: a.o. Esjfjord, Kattfjordvatnet, Sommarøya (where we had a good lunch at a picknic table, some good talks about life + half an hour for a nice walk on your own). Towards the end of the tour we drove back along the southern part of Kvaløya. We were lucky with the weather and we returned with a good number of nice photographes. Ana kept busy too making pictures of all participants ( We received all these photographs next morning by email in a nice format).
A very enjoyable day and for sure a strong recommandation to choose Northern Soul adventures for a Road trip.

Fjord day tour :)

Our fjord day tour with Sebastian was amazing! Every view and stop we visited was simply breathtaking. The little sunset hike at the end was truly magical! I wish I was here another day to do another tour with this company! Thank you for a great day.

Perfect experience

Perfect organization, professional guides and the tireless search for the Northern Lights.
George didn't have an easy evening with us because the clouds were everywhere. We drove all the way to Finland and yes, we found what we were looking for! We were given instructions on how to take photos, clothes to protect us from the cold, warm drinks and soup and a campfire. Amazing. Back in Tromsø and sleeping on it for a night, we can only say thank you!
That was not a given and went far beyond what we had booked.
