We had been preparing for the trip for 2 months. My husband had been learning so much information about different tourist companies and, at last, we chose the best one in “price-quality” conditions and were absolutely right!!! When we were in Tromsø, I called Northern Soul Adventures company, and the polite and inspired girl Hannah helped us to select the suitable date according to weather forecast (we had 2 options: strong Aurora and cloudy weather or weaker Aurora and clean sky. Of course, the first one!!!). Our guide Jeff picked us up at designated time near the hotel and drove us to the amazing place among the mountains near the fjord. Beautiful views all around, the sound of sea, interesting guide and companion Jeff - all was excellent except of cloudy weather! But in an hour the miracle happened: the sky was totally clean and we saw Aurora on our own eyes! Aurora made unforgettable show for us with dances and changing its colours! I have never felt myself so happy!!! Jeff helped us to make this moment one of the brightest in our lives: helped with our camera settings and teached to make photos, made hundred of photos with his professional camera (of Aurora, of us... and sent on our e-mails with touching letter), gave warm shoes and clothes, made fireplace, treated with tasty soup, tea and cakes, told many interesting stories... So we want sincerely recommend Northern Soul Company! They are professionals!!! And thank you so much for the grate experience and soul trip!

Wow, what an incredible experience! Not only was it the perfect night to see the northern lights in all their glory, but Hannah is an amazing guide and went the extra mile to make sure me and my partner had everything we needed. She came prepared with a cozy fire, stools to sit on, homemade soup and biscuits, feet warmers, warm suits and great conversation. It was like we were friends from the moment she picked us up! As we couldn't make the usual pick up time and it was our last day in Tromso, Hannah very kindly agreed to pick us up at a time that worked for us and took us on a private tour to see the Aurora, which was spectacular that night. Even without the light show, I'm sure that we would have had a great time anyway thanks to Hannah and her passion for what she does. In addition to the Northern Lights tour, I went on a road trip with Hannah in the morning. We had done a similar tour before so Hannah took me on a different route to explore new places. She knew exactly where to go and knew so much about the surrounding area that I feel I came back a local expert! The homemade picnic she provided was delicious too. Hannah and her partner run their small business and it was a delight to see how passionate they are about it. Even being just me in the morning tour or the two of us in the northern lights tour, Hannah still took us out because she put us being able to have this experience as a priority. Both these tours will stay in our memory forever because of the unforgettable experiences we had and the amazing pictures that were sent to us after the tour. Just incredible! Thank you again, Hannah! We are looking forward to coming back and we will definitely see you again.

I've booked this tour as a surprise birthday gift for my wife and it was fascinating. There was only two of us and they kindly accepted and didn't cancel the tour although they mentioned that a minimum number of participants are required to hold the tour. Exactly at the pickup time Jeff came and picked up us from the hotel instead of the picking point and from the beginning, he started to describe all the things about northern light and Tromso and answered all of our questions. After he drove to a fascinating place, the first thing, he configured our camera and learned us how to capture photos from Aurora, this is something that you can see it costs 800 kroner for you if you wanted to learn from the others but he thoughts us freely. Also, their van is fully equipped with all the things you might need, and they gave us a tripod and warm clothes without getting additional money. After that, he also thought us how to chase the Aurora and how can we interpret the relevant data from satellites which I guess you can not find in any other similar tour. Meanwhile, we were waiting to see Aurora we started to take photos of stars and we took photos of shooting stars, Mars, and the Milky Way galaxy and he gave us lots of information about them. Then Aurora appeared and he took more than 60 fascinating photos from us and the northern light and edited them and send them to us ten hours later. One thing that I shouldn't forget to mention is that he also created a bonfire which was really nice and we sat next to it and eat their homemade tasty lentil soup, tea, and vegan homemade cookies while we were waiting for the second wave of northern light to show up. After The northern light vanished, he also dropped us at the hotel so you don't need to worry about transportation at that time of day. Long story short, he was so knowledgeable, kind, and helpful and with his awesome hospitality, he created an unforgettable night for us which I always appreciate him for it. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED!
