Walking at the Mariahilfer strasse I noticed that small but really beautiful church.Builded in 1656, there are some interesting frescoes to see and of course a place to find some calm from the noisy busy street. Unfortunately there was no ceremony the time of my visit. Have a look if you are walking at the area.

This is a small church tucked behind the Josef Haydn monument in the Mariahilferstrasse shopping area. It’s worth a quick tour, beautiful artwork.

Serene and beautiful church. You can lit a candle and pray for a donation of 1 euro. General gathering times to be checked with the priest.

The Church of Mariahilfer is a beautiful baroque parish church in the Mariahilfer Strasse. I had a chance to see a wonderful concert of Imperial Classic Orchestra there and must say they had tremendous accoustics in Salvator Saal, Mariahilfer Church. Beautifully painted ceiling and impressive interiors! Recommended to see when around.

Like any other church in the country it is quite peaceful and beautiful. You may even spend some praying time and no one will bother you at all.

I love the architecture in Vienna, always have done and walking around the wonderful historic centre of the city I passed the fantastic Mariahilfer Kirche.
A church with some serious history attached to it ,constructed between 1711-1715 ,a great example of Baroque architecture ,the church is such a joy to view, the church is in the main shopping area just off Mariahilferstrasse ,it's easy to locate along Barnabitengasse and well worth checking out if you're in the area.

I love to visit large and small churches whenever I travel and stumbled upon this one while looking for the closest ATM to where I was staying in Vienna. It isn’t that large but has some beautiful stained glass windows.

We were wandering down Barnabitengasse heading towards Ammutson Craft Beer Bar and at the end of that street looming up is the beautiful Mariahilfer Kirche which is a stunning looking church that if your in this part of town is most definitely well worth checking out.
Constructed between 1711 and 1715 in the beautiful Baroque style of architecture that is so pleasing on the eye, we passed this church at night ,it looked very evocative and very photogenic.
As we were here after midnight the church was obviously closed, would have loved to check out the interior ,will do on our next holiday to Vienna.
The church looked cool,I took some photo's before we moved on .
The church is easy to locate on Barnabitengasse in an area of outstandingly beautiful architecture.
Well worth checking out if your in the area.

Vienna is a place with so many churches, mostly Roman-Catholic which means great architecture. I love the ceiling of this church and it's a small one too.
