Schonbrunn Palace was a beautiful experience made even better by our knowledgeable and personable tour guide Katharina. So much to learn and see, we surely would have missed a lot had we gone on our own. We were lucky to have a small group too! Inside the palace was rich with history and artwork, the gardens outside gorgeous. Katharina even rode the train back to the city with us, helping us find the market we wanted to see and have lunch. Overall it was a great experience and highly recommended to get the most out of your visit.

Thanks for the lovely review. We're glad that you enjoyed our tours and guides in Vienna and Salzburg and we hope to see you in the future on Insight Cities tours in Prague, Berlin, Budapest and Munich. It is especially encouraging for us and our whole network of historian guides to be reminded of the impact we have and travel memories that we've helped to shape while our industry is still very challenged by the pandemic and travel restrictions. Thanks again.

Great tour of the palace with a really friendly and knowledgeable guide. Certainly had a much better experience than if we did the tour independently.

We took the Art Nouveau Tour in December with Reinhard (I believe a former University Professor). Although it was cold and we were the only ones on the tour (two adults and a 14 year old boy), we had a fantastic time and have very fond memories of it. Since it turned out that some of the tour’s itinerary we already covered, Reinhard improvised on the spot and showed us many other interesting corners of Vienna that we otherwise would not have ventured to. We felt we had a personal (very knowledgeable friend!) showing us his city, all the while having a fascinating conversation about Vienna’s politics, literature and art. An unforgettable experience!
