We went there in Sunday and it was a little bit crowdy. The people in cloakroom were the most sluggish we have experienced in Vienna but luckily there are storage locker that are self-serviced by the visitors (1 or 2 € coin required). Be sure to buy tickets online, so you won't have to wait in the queue, which can be tens of people long. Also, it's quite warm there in the winter, so be sure to have water. As for the exhibitions, all themes are nicely described in english, some additional information are provided near sellected pieces (still a good ammount of reading), as well as audio guide. Route from room to room is indicated by the signs on the passage, it is hard to get lost there once you get to one of few exhibitions held at given time. You are also allowed to take photos without the flash.

Visited this art museum with my teen daughter who has a strong interest in the visual arts. The collection was engaging and provided a nice balance between the information and visual attractiveness. We visited on a Friday and the crowd was average and we were able to see all that we wanted without feeling rushed or stuffed...

The Albertina is not to be missed. When we visited there was a Raphael exhibit. Outstanding! There was also a Brueghel exhibit. Amazing! Unfortunately we only had a few hours to spare. The gallery itself is very well designed. It is quite spacious and the exhibits are well set out. Both of the above exhibits are extensive.
