In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Once a star observatory and now education and culture center. It was built in 1909 by art noveau architect max fabiani. The building is on the danube channel and by the ring strasse. One of the many interesting buildings in Vienna.

This building once once a star observatory, an adult education center, and now serves as a culture venue, puppet theater and bar and restaurant. Albert Einstein and Thomas Mann held courses and lectures here. Austrians associate this building as a puppet theater. This is where many of the most popular TV puppet shows were shot. Built in 1909, the Art Nouveau architect Max Fabiani was the inspiration behind its design.

There is an event called "Himmelsklicke – mit dem Handy zu den Sternen" at the Urania Sternwarte.
Adapters for the telescope do not fit well, the quality of the photos is poor. With a group of about 20 or more people it takes a very long time until your turn.
I cannot recommend it at all, it is a waste of time and money.

Splendid and beautiful building located on Danube canal. One of the most striking sites along the Canal. Marvelous architecture.
