It was a truly unique and inspiring experience to engage in deep conversation with a person I just met for the first time at the "Coffeehouse talk", one I can truly recommend to anyone!

An unusual walk combining ugly places with interesting information and lots of fun. A great way to explore unknown spots in a city. Recommended for visitors as well as for people living in Vienna or nearby. Eugene, the tour guide and master mind of the walk is a role model for infotainment.

Thanks to the help of Barbara at Vienna Unwrapped, my husband and a friend of ours got to enjoy an amazing personalized baking experience in Vienna!! We learned how to make apple strudel and cheese knodel, which were delicious. Our instructor Vanessa hosted us in her beautiful home. She spared no expense! We had cookies and mulled wine while we baked. She had cute aprons and comfy kitchen clogs for us to wear. She gave us lots of great info about the art and science of Viennese baking. And the best part: we got to eat what we made and take home leftovers!! Hands down the best desserts we ate while in Vienna. Vanessa even made us cappuccinos to accompany our desserts, and gave us shots of schnapps for the road. It was a highlight of our trip, absolutely worthwhile!!!

If you'd like to see the most beautiful historic sites of Vienna - DON'T GO! However, if you are able to appreciate beauty in ugliness, if you drift towards quirky, out of place and unusual things, this is an experience for you. Eugene is extremely charismatic and humorous, and his delivery definitely makes this tour (sorry, this WALK) inspiring, thought-provoking and, all in all, unforgettable.
