Just OK for a party but so archaic with the division in smaller rooms. Really middle class acoustics. Extremely terrible bar service with waiting times exceeding 30 minutes!

The Praterdome impressed me a lot, me and my friends were looking for a disco with good music and a nice style and we definitly found in the Praterdome, it's a great place for having fun according to different tastes, and it's possible to enter for free before 23.00, soabsolutly adviced!

We were a group of 7 people and we we denied entry, and they didnt give any reason while other white people simply walked in. I would recommend everyone to not go there. It was embarrassing to have stood there while others were entering.

We went there with 8 people of which 4 girls. Two Indian guys were with us and were denied at the door because of their race. Very offensive and discriminating!

We went there with a groupe. White people didn't seem to have any problem to come in, others were just denied without giving any good reason. I just went inside to go to the bathroom it looked quite nice and even after shouting and being angry they led me in... But the really nice coloured people didn't... Amasing.

We visited Praters Dome with a group of friends. The place is huge and great fun for parties. Major problem was was they have a bouncer which selects purely based on skin colour at the door.

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
