This park was so beautiful. It would be good to sit here and have a picnic. Walking through was an amazing experience. The flowers were nice and beautiful and it wasn't too busy compared to the other park close by which wasn't half as interesting.

Vienna has so many parks and gardens to visit! This garden is a nice size, benches to relax and smell the wonderful roses. It is a nice stopping point between the palace complex, Parliament building and Rathaus.

Nice park to wander about in, and cool off under the trees. It's right outside the Hofburg, so slow down and smell the roses. Literally.

A nice garden to stroll through. The are many rose plants to see. If they have a white sign on it it means someone has paid the city to sponsor that plant and they wrote a message on the sign...interesting to see the messages and thoughts people share.

This is one of the most beautiful parks in Vienna. Roses as far the eye can see! There are chairs to sit on just admire the roses or sunbath.

The park is absolute fantastic with thousands of rose bushes in bloom, nice grass areas to do picnics, benches to sit and relax, paths to walk and cycle and absolute tranquil.

A fairly small park which has lots of different rose varieties, fountains and a Greek temple with a mesmerising sculpture display inside. A great place to sit and relax, watching the ducklings move from one water fountain to another.

Good environment, beautiful structures and the most amazing flowers is what you can find in this center located park. Great place to visit, maybe drink a coke and just enjoy good things of life. Honestly, I enjoyed my walk trough the place. Don't forget to buy an ice cream!

very nice cafe in the middle although service there is slow. Great place to take a break from the sightseeing as it's so central.

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
