If you want to have a classical experience of Mozart and Strauss pick this experience. The price is affordable and the execution/program is really lovely. We stayed in Area C (cheapest) but the view and sound was perfect anyway! Definitely do it!

The Orangerie is a perfect spot for a classical concert. Add in opera singers and dancers and you have a very enjoyable evening. I teared up imagining audiences long ago listening to the same wonderful music.

High-class professionals, extremely well chosen playlist from Mozart and Strauss, excellent ambience, perfect acoustics! I strongly recommend! I think this is the most beautiful thing I could do in Vienna.

I'm quite frankly blown away by the quality of musicianship in Vienna, and this orchestra is no exception. (I am a former music journalist, so probably have higher standards than the average tourist.) Though the program is composed of mostly crowd-pleasing selections—nothing lengthy or brooding—the...More

Vienna’s 13th district has always been in the shadow
of Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens, but has
interesting hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
Allow half a day for the imposing Habsburg residence
and the gardens with Gloriette belvedere. Reserve the
other half to discover the secret charms of this posh
residential neighborhood. Sneak out of the gardens at
Hietzinger Tor (Hietzing Gate) and head down

There is no dress code per-se as far as I'm aware. My experience was that people dressed casually for the palace tour, but dressed a little more formal for the dinner and orchestra performance.

About 2 hours with a break in the middle with drinks available. Finishes in plenty of time to get a metro back into the centre.

Best to wear casual smart clothing. Some people dressed up, but the majority wore casual smart.
