Enjoyed it a lot. Small but the vibe was right. The staff were cool and allowed us to enter rather late. It was worth it and affordable-if one cares to know.

It is really sad to say, but, truthfully, this is one of the smallest composer museums ever. I think even Hummel got a bigger museum in Bratislava. The staff is also unpleasant and unfriendly, they don't speak a word of English. There are residences and...More

Very disappointing museum of the greatest composer ever born in Vienna. The only things worth mentioning are the iconic glasses and a rather ingenious equipment to listen to his music. Very bored and boring keeper.

Very small, 2-3 rooms that take 15mins to see. Not worth detour, even for classical music fans unless seen everything else in Vienna (eg permanent resident in area). Inside should be much better - choose the Beethoven pasqualidohaus instead.

Excellent effort to maintain Schubert's house and turn it into a museum. Though there weren't many customers at the time of our visit. A nice piece of characterful history in remembrance of an iconic composer.

Schubert only lived here briefly as a child. There is an exhibit about him in the home. We did not do the extra exhibit rooms that were an additional cost since they were not where he lived.

This museum is just a short ride out from the city on a number 38 train. Though a very small and simple museum, with a bit of imagination you could imagine what life here 200 years ago might have been like, especially for a large...More

The price to the museum was cheap enough and we were glad that we was able to see his manuscripts, glasses, paintings, etc. However an English translation for the descriptions would be appreciated. The service however, was the worst out of many of the wien...More
